Hi, Working with the webapp builder 2.5 Dashboard Theme. I've added a few infographic widgets to the template including a line and bar chart. They appear to have a tool tip (blue) that appears along the x and y axis. Is there anyway to turn this off? Is there something in the CSS that can be changed?

Hi Derek, in your example if I understand it correctly filters a subset of the previous filter so like if I had a layer for trees and I filtered on "Maples" I could then filter the Reds, Sugar etc. But what I want to do is filter by Maples and\or Pines. I imaged I could create 2 filters and when I selected one filter it would show me Maples if I select Pines filter it would show me pines but if I selected both the maples and the pines filters I would get both. I am guessing maybe the filter widget is not the correct widget to use for this type of functionality. -Melissa

Is there anyway to use the Filter widget and select multiple filters as an OR versus AND. Like a list of filters for tree types and I want to see one type or i want to select two by checking the box.

Hi Rupert, Launched the shortlist as an https using the latest version of the template. I was wondering if there is a zoom functionality where it would zoom to my location? it doesn't appear to do that know you have to use the + and - zoom buttons to find the blue dot. Can you point me to the code to implement the functionality? Is this on the developers radar for the next version? thank you for your assistance.

I created a story map (Shortlist Story Map 2.1.0.) by adding a rest feature service to arcgis online saving it and then share>create a web app> Build a Story Map >Story Map Shortlist. I want to now add a new point location to the story map. I assumed there were two ways to add a location one through the story map in edit mode and the other by editing the feature layer. However if I add it through the story map the information is not found in the search. I created a custom search to search the feature layer used to create the story map. If I add a location to the feature layer the value is found in the search but doesn't show the point, image and description in the story map tile list. Do I need to update both places in order for the data to appear or am I missing something? How should I update location in my story map that was created by a feature layer service?

I'm using the Shortlist Story Map latest version and I want to enable the locate widget. I've added this: var geoLocate = new LocateButton({ map: app.map, highlightLocation: false }, "LocateButton"); geoLocate.startup(); to the custom-scripts.js and added a div to the index <div id="LocateButton"></div> Using the following as reference. Locate Button | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 3.19 However I still don't see it appearing in the app.

Hi Mark, Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I believe I have added the geocoders to the custom-script.js ........... define(["dojo/topic", "esri/dijit/Search", "esri/layers/FeatureLayer", "esri/InfoTemplate", "esri/dijit/Geocoder", "esri/tasks/locator"], function (topic, Search, FeatureLayer, InfoTemplate, Geocoder, locator) { /* * Custom Javascript to be executed while the application is initializing goes here */ // The application is ready topic.subscribe("tpl-ready", function () { /* * Custom Javascript to be executed when the application is ready goes here */ var search = new Search({ enableButtonMode: false, //this enables the search widget to display as a single button enableLabel: false, enableInfoWindow: true, showInfoWindowOnSelect: true, map: app.map }, "search"); var sources = search.get("sources"); //Push the sources used to search, by default the ArcGIS Online World geocoder is included. In addition there is a feature layer of US congressional districts. The districts search is set up to find the "DISTRICTID". Also, a feature layer of senator information is set up to find based on the senator name. sources.push({ featureLayer: new FeatureLayer("http://anrmaps.vermont.gov/arcgis/rest/services/map_services/ACCD_Tourism/FeatureServer/8"), searchFields: ["name"], displayField: "name", exactMatch: false, outFields: ["name"], name: "Roadside Historic Markers", placeholder: "Vermont at Cedar Creek", maxResults: 6, maxSuggestions: 6, //Create an InfoTemplate and include three fields infoTemplate: new InfoTemplate("name", "location: ${location}</br><a href=${pic_url} target=_blank;'></a>"), enableSuggestions: true, minCharacters: 0 }); var geocoder = [{ url: "http://maps.vcgi.vermont.gov/arcgis/rest/services/EGC_services/GCS_E911_COMPOSITE_SP/GeocodeServer", name: "E911 Address", singleLineFieldName: "Single Line Input" }]; var geocoder = new Geocoder({ map: map, geocoders: geocoders, arcgisGeocoder: false }); //Set the sources above to the search widget search.set("sources", sources); search.startup(); }); }); However I am still getting the ESRI World Geocoder Can my geocode service show up there instead?

I've added the search multiple sources code sample located https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/3/jssamples/search_multiplesources.html. however it doesn't appear to search the feature layer. It does search the world geocode service but not the feature layer. Any ideas on what I am missing. I've added the District Feature Layer to the map and can see the Search box. var sources = search.get("sources"); //Push the sources used to search, by default the ArcGIS Online World geocoder is included. In addition there is a feature layer of US congressional districts. The districts search is set up to find the "DISTRICTID". Also, a feature layer of senator information is set up to find based on the senator name. sources.push({ featureLayer: new FeatureLayer("https://services.arcgis.com/V6ZHFr6zdgNZuVG0/arcgis/rest/services/CongressionalDistricts/FeatureServer/0"), searchFields: ["DISTRICTID"], displayField: "DISTRICTID", exactMatch: false, outFields: ["DISTRICTID", "NAME", "PARTY"], name: "Congressional Districts", placeholder: "3708", maxResults: 6, maxSuggestions: 6, //Create an InfoTemplate and include three fields infoTemplate: new InfoTemplate("Congressional District", "District ID: ${DISTRICTID}</br>Name: ${NAME}</br>Party Affiliation: ${PARTY}"), enableSuggestions: true, minCharacters: 0 }); //Set the sources above to the search widget search.set("sources", sources); search.startup(); }); -melissa
