Same for me too. Iterating items from gis.content.search(). shared_with property seems to have correct values for everyone and org properties, but groups is always an empty list, even though the items clearly are shared with groups via the UI

Answer looks like a good solution, but if I wanted these actions to appear in the default map callout (not the search widget callout), where would I add this code? Is this code relevant for the default map callout?

I am embedding a WAB Dev Ed application into a customers content management system web page and the customer has a requirement to send an attribute of a clicked feature back to the content management system. The obvious solution would be to configure a link/button in the callout configuration within the web map to execute some logic, but this is not allowed and any javascript calls are filtered out of the web map. The next approach could be to use feature actions at the WAB level, which would provide a means to execute a javascript function but by default these are not obvious or easily accessible from the callout (click ellipsis to show context menu, select appropriate feature action). Is it possible to include a call to a feature action from a button/link created in the callout? If so, how? Alternatively, can a feature action be added as a link to the callout footer, like the "zoom to" link? If so, how? Can the callout footer be customised to include a javascript function call with an attribute of the selected feature as a parameter? Thanks

Hi Victor This seems to have worked, we are having some minor issues with the page scrolling down to a nominal location but we are working through that. Thanks for your suggestion.

I am building a dashboard app in WAB Dev Ed. (v2.12) for a customer. The app's web map contains customer hosted feature layers from AGOL. A point feature layer in the web map has a picture marker symbol with height and width values set, this symbology is set in ArcGIS Pro before publishing. The app is embedded within a page in the customers Content Management System (CMS) within an iframe. The customer has a requirement that the dasboard app is not visible until the user chooses an option from the CMS page, but once selected, the dashboard should be displayed immediately. Therefore we have preloaded the dashboard app in the iframe and a div containing the iframe is set to display:hidden until the user selects the option. The issue is that when the dashboard is displayed, the point layer cannot be seen, the legend widget also shows the layer name but no symbol. Some examination of the browser elements indicates that the point features are there, with the correct symbols but the symbol height and width is 0. Other tests have shown that if the parent div is left visible prior to the user selecting the option, the map displays the point layer with correct symbol size (no change to the dashboard app). Is anyone able to explain why the point feature layer symbology's size is 0 when the app is loaded into a hidden iframe or how I might go about solving this issue?

Using ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1, I have created an SOE that performs connected/upstream/downstream traces against a Geometric Network. This works in most cases. When the start point is on an certain set of edges, the trace crashes the ArcSOC.exe process for the service. The AGS log reports the following stack trace: java.lang.Exception: Could not service request. at com.esri.arcgis.discovery.admin.rediscovery.actors.RediscoveryAppServer.handleRequest(RediscoveryAppServer.java:539) at com.esri.discovery.DiscoveryService.handleRequest(DiscoveryService.java:112) at com.esri.client.AGSRequest.handleRequest(AGSRequest.java:216) at com.esri.client.ServiceClient.handleRequest(ServiceClient.java:110) at com.esri.client.exts.ExtensionClient.handleRequest(ExtensionClient.java:189) at com.esri.client.app.exts.ExtensionHandler$2.doOperation(ExtensionHandler.java:205) at com.esri.client.app.templates.OperationTemplate.execute(OperationTemplate.java:119) at com.esri.client.app.exts.ExtensionHandler.handleOperation(ExtensionHandler.java:268) at com.esri.client.app.exts.ExtensionHandler.extensions(ExtensionHandler.java:94) at com.esri.client.app.exts.ExtensionHandler.service(ExtensionHandler.java:83) at com.esri.rf.RServlet.service(RServlet.java:121) at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:742) at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.internalDoFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:231) at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.doFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:166) at org.apache.tomcat.websocket.server.WsFilter.doFilter(WsFilter.java:52) at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.internalDoFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:193) at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.doFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:166) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardWrapperValve.invoke(StandardWrapperValve.java:199) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContextValve.invoke(StandardContextValve.java:96) at org.apache.catalina.authenticator.AuthenticatorBase.invoke(AuthenticatorBase.java:496) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardHostValve.invoke(StandardHostValve.java:140) at org.apache.catalina.valves.ErrorReportValve.invoke(ErrorReportValve.java:81) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardEngineValve.invoke(StandardEngineValve.java:87) at org.apache.catalina.connector.CoyoteAdapter.service(CoyoteAdapter.java:342) at org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Processor.service(Http11Processor.java:803) at org.apache.coyote.AbstractProcessorLight.process(AbstractProcessorLight.java:66) at org.apache.coyote.AbstractProtocol$ConnectionHandler.process(AbstractProtocol.java:790) at org.apache.tomcat.util.net.NioEndpoint$SocketProcessor.doRun(NioEndpoint.java:1459) at org.apache.tomcat.util.net.SocketProcessorBase.run(SocketProcessorBase.java:49) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor.runWorker(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:1149) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:624) at org.apache.tomcat.util.threads.TaskThread$WrappingRunnable.run(TaskThread.java:61) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:748) When I debug the source, it actually crashes on the call to perform the trace, traceFlowSolver.FindFlowElements(pFlowMethod, esriFlowElements.esriFEJunctionsAndEdges, out _junctionIEDs, out _edgeEIDs); This line has try catch statements around it but the ArcSOC still just crashes with no caught exceptions. I am able to trace through these edges if I start on another edge, i.e. start on a downstream edge with an upstream trace. Note: the tracing does work on most network edges, it just fails on some and that subset of failing edges is persistent. I have tried to investigate for a data issue or a GN issue through ArcMap. I have found that if I display direction arrows, the edge features that cause the crash do not get a direction arrows and "The spatial references do not match" errors appear for them. My data frame is set to Web Mercator (3857), to match the base maps my client wishes to use, whilst the source data is stored in MGA Zone 56 (28356), so I tried setting my data frame to MGA Zone 56 and all the direction arrows appear with no errors. So I published my service with the spatial reference set to MGA Zone 56, but the SOC process still crashes for the same edges. I can't seem to debug any further. Can anyone give me any clues as to either what may be causing the SOCs to crash or how I could debug further?

I have ArcGIS Enterprise 10.5.1 set up in a customer's environment.Their ArcGIS Server is Federated to Portal. Their environment consists of: Web Server - hosting Portal for ArcGIS Portal Web Adaptor in IIS ArcGIS Web Adaptor in IIS App Server - hosting ArcGIS Server Database Server (SQL Server) They have Web Tier Authentication activated and map services are shared to groups within Portal. When my token has timed out, if I try to access a webmap through portal's map viewer it fails to authenticate and I get invalid token messages in my browser console and in the Server logs. If I access the service directory as the same user via the arcgis web adaptor, I find that I need to click the login link and this seems to generate a valid token, that will then allow my webmap to work in the map viewer (or any other web app), until the token times out again. Can anyone explain why this is happening? The web server does have an alias to the hostname, but AFAIK everything has been set up on the web server using that alias (not the actual internal hostname). The alias is in a different domain to the internal server name. Don't know if this infomation is relevant but I've included it in case it is.

I have created an MXD that has a layer with a couple of label classes with a label expression. The expression takes the first character of the domain description using the mid function (vbscript) to form a label. I can confirm the Display coded value description box is checked for the label expression. In ArcMap 10.5.1 the label appears correctly, with the first letter of the domain description. I share the MXD with ArcGIS Server 10.5.1. The same label in the dynamic map service renders the the first character of the domain code, not the description. Query requests against the same feature in the same service return to domain description. There are no errors in the ArcGIS Server logs. My data is source from a SQL Server geodatabase (saw a similar post with no answer indicating that SQL Server may be an issue). Is this a bug? or am I doing something wrong?

Hi Robert Thanks for your reply. After a large amount of debugging, I worked out that it was because I was creating the Graphic objects using coordinates in a different SpatialReference, even though I was setting the geometry's SR appropriately. It appears the graphic geometries don't reproject if their SR does not match the SR of the GraphicsLayer.

I am building a custom WAB widget that selects features from a third party SOE across a number of predefined layers. I am trying to use the SelectionManager to present the highlighted features on the map and the associated selected records in the attribute table. Reference information about the SelectionManager is scant and I have been using the Select widget to see how I can implement it. I have the code mostly working except that the highlighted features are not appearing on the map, they are however being selected in the attribute table. I am using selectionManager.setSelection method passing in the appropriate layerObject, obtained from the appropriate layerInfo from the webmap and an array of Graphic objects for the selected features and these features definitely exist in the layer passed. The service containing the selection layer is a dynamic map service, not a feature service, but the Select tool works fine on this service. I can't see any code in the Select widget to add the graphic objects to the map, so I assume the SelectionManager handles that, is this correct? Does anyone have any ideas as to what I might be doing wrong?
