Set your data frame projection to the one you want; when you export the shp file, check the "use the data frame projection" button. Or, you can re project in Arc Toolbox, Data Management Tools, Projections and Transformations, Project. It's a lot simpler to just use the data frames projection though, and the result is the same.

Is it possible to search features in an arcgisonline map by a specific attribute, then zoom or pan to them as you would in ArcView?

I have had similar problems...I solved it by opening a second, blank mxd and dragging/dropping layers from TOC to TOC. When done, shut down first mxd and use "save as" to replace it. It's been a long time, but I think the problem was a corrupt mxd. You can replace it other ways, that's just how I did it. Matt

There are many people here much more knowledgeable than me, so I will let them answer question #1. Question #2, Arc will project different spatial references "on the fly" (provided they are all correctly defined) so you don't need to worry on that score. It is best to have everything in the same coordinate reference system so Arc doesn't use up a lot of processor doing that, but not required.

The red exclamation marks indicate broken data links. The path to the data your pmf is using is not intact on the laptop. You can recreate it on the laptop (keep path intact by duplicating data and location) or create a data package in Arc Publisher for the pmf to use.

I am looking for input from any who are using GPS enabled cameras...which ones are good and why, what you like about them, what you don't. We are looking hard at putting them into field use and it would be great to get some direct input from current users. Any help is appreciated Matt
