hi Jayant, thanks for your concern. Yes, one polygon should cover more than 4 points in order to achieve minimum sum of 1000. I haven't mentioned but the distance of each points should be minimal therefore we will have multiple neighboring polygons which has same/similar number of incidents covering multiple points. Its logically simple and can be done manually but couldn't find out how to do it automatically.

Hello there; I have above 2000 points where each point has a field which indicates a number of incidents from 0 to 300. I want to draw a polygons around of these points where total number of incidents = 1000. what would be the best way performing such analysis? thanks in advance. BR;

I can view it on arcmap, I can see the information stored in each polygons within this layer file but I can not select or extract the data at all and I cant do any analysis as well. Dear Duygu; Many thanks for your quick reply to my query. Unfortunately; I couldn't run the merge *.grc file format (the landuse map) . This is where I stuck from the beginning... I am sure there is an alternative way and still seeking for it...

Hello There; I am new to use ESRI and would appreciate your support for below : Inputs: Total of 11 land-use (*.grc format) files which represents a country A Polygon (*.shp format) file which includes 600 administrative boarder polygons for all country A number of population per each polygon Demanded Output: Split the land-use map in to 600 administrative areas Read the number of land-use grids.Therefore we can get total number of grids where population can be (excluding the open area, forest, water, sea etc) Export the no of grids to an excel sheet where we can assign a population value for each land-use type Assign the calculated values to each land-use type I would appreciate if an expert can help me to do above step by step. many thanks in advance.
