I find it a little weird that the tool window doesn't differentiate between Feature Class or Shapefile until it automatically appends the file path if it's in a standard windows folder. But this method works for me too.

Is there a tentative or approximate release date for the Portal for ArcGIS release that will be ported to 4.x?

Tom DeWitte, in addition to the timeline for UPDM 2019 release, are there any training materials or modules available for UPDM? I couldn't find anything on the ESRI Training Site.

This is a very basic suggestion, so apologies to anyone who has already tried this, but I've been having some issues in Google Chrome lately that has been contributing to having my printing hang in certain Portal web mapping applications. To see if this is what is causing issues for you, and you're using Google Chrome, you may want to first confirm whether or not the issue persists in Incognito Mode (use a similar privacy mode in a different browser). If the issue does not persist in Incognito Mode, go to Google Chrome Settings > Advanced > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data, and clear your cache there. You may also want to clear other items like history, cookies, etc. If you're using a different browser, the steps should be fairly similar. Doing "Empty Cache and Hard Reload" in the browser/tab session doesn't seem to work on my issue, but clearing the browsing data does. I have a hunch that maybe updating your web map application in Web AppBuilder Developer Edition can cause this issue. I updated several applications from WAB version 2.7 to 2.11 and then started to experience issues using the Print Widget on those applications. The one application I updated from WAB version 2.10 to 2.11 did not seem to have this issue.

I had this same exact issue recently. I do believe this solution actually worked! Though it would be good to know how and why the database got corrupted in the first place to avoid it in the future.

Hi Kelly, Would you be able to submit an enhancement to address this topic? I ran across this issue today when our IT department did a name change for someone who just got married. I would think I would be able to simply change their name, e-mail, and username based on the updated Enterprise Account credentials, or even just clone the user and delete the old one in one action. Instead, I had to create the new user, verify all of their groups, permissions, etc, move over their content, and delete the old user. Pretty cumbersome, especially if this happens multiple times a month. Thanks, - Zach

Unfortunately they make it so that you need a Ph.D. in computer science to get anywhere in implementing any of these back-door features.

This is a fantastic idea. This would have wide-ranging applications, including in Oil & Gas and other utilities and transmission industries.

Asrujit SenGupta How are you using this? I can execute the EXEC as a Stored Procedure, but I can't use it in a view or query. I'm trying to publish a view as a feature service to ArcGIS Enterprise, but it only gives me what is in the DEFAULT version. I need to publish my QA version which is an immediate child of DEFAULT.

Unfortunately we haven't found a solution to this issue yet, but I think it is happening somewhere during the execution of onSaveItemToFileClicked in Widget.js (lines 440 - 463): /** * save the single item to file * @param {Object} e the event args */ onSaveItemToFileClicked: function (e) { var sessionString = "", fileName = "", sessions = []; fileName = string.substitute(this.config.fileNameTplForSession, e.item); sessions.push(e.item); sessionString = JSON.stringify(sessions); // update form values this.saveToFileName.value = fileName; this.saveToFileContent.value = sessionString; // trigger the post to server side this.saveToFileForm.submit(); console.log('SaveSession :: onSaveItemToFileClicked :: end'); },

James Tedrick when will Enterprise/Portal functionality be available for MS Flow? Why aren't your programmers working to ensure their code is modular enough to make these critical features available in tandem across both platforms (both AGOL and Portal) as often as reasonably possible?

Actually, I finally got it to work. The expressions are fully case sensitive. All field names must be entirely lowercase, and the if statement must use the choice name, not the label. Here's an example of what kind of if statement you would put in the required field on the survey tab: if( ${doyoulikegis}='no','yes','') In the above example, if you answer that you don't like GIS, you'd be required to answer the question to which that form expression applies (such as "Why don't you like GIS?")
