in my experience the map needs to be shared with a group, when not shared even the creator cannot download. What I find strange is that I can’t seem to be able to share with just a group but organisation share has to also be enabled… anyone any insight into this?

Is this a recent bug - I have a complex form where this seems to be causing many of the calculations to misfire... frustrating that the calcs were working fine all last year... seems like the problem only arise in recent weeks.... Any idea whether it is likely to be fixed?

Hi Steve, maybe not clear from my workflow didn’t involve downloading previously submitted images.. I was having trouble adding more than 1 image in a repeat... hope you got sorted.

Have 20 fieldworkers submitting surveys on mobile devices using inbox to edit existing features on a feature service. Many surveys submitted successfully but two surveyors receiving following error when attempting to send from outbox - send error: operation rolled back there is no error code, see attached screenshot. I’ve read other discussion topics relating to this but have had no success fixing it.

Can anyone confirm whether this has been fixed...? I am finding thread hard to follow. When I save a form to drafts where no select multiples have not been selected and then open from drafts and select multiple choices a read-only calculation field based on the multiple choices (count-selected) does not update (note type)... Similar issue arises in a text field where calculation is property('username') where a form has been saved to draft by user who is not signed in. When they open the saved form (while signed in) the required read only field does not populate and therefore form cant be submitted.... Any advice?. I do not want to turn off read only due to potential user error.

I resolved this - need to leave repeat_count blank in order to add photos in a repeat of an existing service.

I've since resolved this issue. I had a repeat_count populated, not very clear out there that having repeat_count left blank is a must if you want to add photos to existing FS in a repeat.

Unable to add new photos to existing feature service in Survey 123 despite image question being set up as a repeat in my form. When attempting to add photos to existing records using inbox the repeat image question is disabled in the form . There are no existing photos associated with the features I am updating. The workflow is as follows: 1. Published new survey with image question in repeat using Survey123 Connect for ArcGIS. 2. Verify all correct permission/sharing settings enabled on the feature service. 3. Add features to newly formed layer from step 1 with ArcGIS Pro using Append geoprocessing tool. 4. Use Inbox in Survey123 to open an existing records. 5. Image question in repeat is disabled. Hi Steven, Did you ever get this issue resolved? I am having the same problem right now - repeat image question is disabled when I am editing an existing feature in my inbox. have enabled full editing privileges on FS. The repeat images work as expected when adding new survey forms. Patrick

Thanks for response, following versions of app and connect: Using connect 3.9.120 Using app version 3.9.148 Just to confirm - there is no way of using the image question type when some pre-populated fields and enabling inbox? Is there any workaround for this (apart from bringing attributes in from collector)? I attach the xls form. The issues arise (calculation not automatically updating (need to refresh), date not auto-populating, and no ability to take photo) when I pre-populate data relating to the following questions in the feature service: ownership farmer_ID commonage_code plot_number surveyor scorecard_type

I have prepared and published a survey using Connect. I have enabled the inbox for assigning surveys to fieldworkers based on user and have created a number features in the feature service with a few pre-populated answers (including user). I notice however that when user opens the partly pre-populated forms in the field App the form doesn’t behave as expected - such as: today’s date not appearing in survey date field, calculations not updating as expected, and image questions are not available... All these functions behave correctly when collecting data in a new form. Can anyone advise how I can get this functionality restored on partly pre-populated forms?

Final question on topic of multiple choice.. See screen-grab below - I have two choices (out of a total of 5) in a select single question that have the same name "0" but different labels. They need to have the same value as a name as I am doing a calculation based on the value. I am having two issues with this: 1. Survey123 does not allow me to just select one of the choices in the form as it automatically selects both, no way of just selecting one of the two. Is this always the case if two selections have the same name? 2. and secondly, as it writes the name to the feature service I don't have any way of identifying which choice of the two was selected.... any suggestions..???

Can anyone explain why some multiple choice questions write answer to feature class as choice label while others write answer as choice name...? has it to do with whether there is text or numeric characters in the choice name?

I am attempting to do as you set out above in relation to writing selected multiple choices to multiple fields in a feature service. Unfortunately when I look up my data in resulting feature service, while expecting either a Y or N depending on whether selected or not, the following error message occurs throughout all of the relevant fields: ReferenceError: Y is not defined in expression: if(selected( /PMP_Peatland_Scorecard/group_a/p_negative ,'bramble'),Y,N) I believe I followed exactly what you suggest above - the calculation I used in connect is: Appreciate any advice..??
