Hi Experts, I made the "define project" local geoprocessing package via arcmap 10.2 toolbox->data management tools->projections and transformations->Define Projection via option "support Arcgis runtime" checked. and then I call this local service via arcgis runtime .net 100.6, the code snippet is shown as below: GeoprocessingParameters gpParams = new GeoprocessingParameters(GeoprocessingExecutionType.AsynchronousSubmit); gpParams.Inputs["coor_system"] = new GeoprocessingString(projectString); gpParams.Inputs["in_dataset"] = new GeoprocessingFeatures(new Uri(tifPath));//with loca tif abosolute path, is it wrong here? // Create the job m_gpJob = m_gpTask.CreateJob(gpParams); I got error on JobChanged event saying, "Illegal state: Server job has failed. Invalid return value: c:\users\peter\appdata\local\temp\arcgisruntime_28976\defineprojection_dom\jobs\defineprojection_dom_gpserver\j98a707d142604f029a969ffa2d886c9e\scratch\dom.tif." Could anyone help find out where is going wrong and give some clues to make the local service work as expected? thanks in advance. The attached snapshot is the 'define projection' local service submit job page, how to set the correct value for the input 'in_dataset‘ with type GPRasterDataLayer?

Hi Morten Nielsen, I tried my another slpk and succeeded to open it using arcgis runtime 100.2.1. However, today after I upgrade arcgis runtime .net to v100.3, my scene layer is invisible when it was there when I was using v100.2.1,could you give me some idea on how to fix this? Below is my code snippet to load my local slpk as an ArcGISSceneLayer: Uri treespk = new System.Uri(slpkPath); var sceneLayer = new ArcGISSceneLayer(); // add the scene layer to the scene sceneLayer.Source = treespk; sceneLayer.Loaded += SceneLayer_Loaded; //await sceneLayer.LoadAsync(); sceneView.Scene.OperationalLayers.Add(sceneLayer); By the way, the SceneLayer_Loaded is invoked so I am sure the sceneLayer is loaded without any error, just not visible. I try to load the same local slpk via arcgis earth v1.6.1, it's visible on the earth.

Hi experts, I am using arcgis runtime .net 100.2.1. My WPF application with arcgis runtime crashes frequrently after loading my local elevation file. the crash happens when zooming in/out, or rotating the scene, is this a known issue and any ideas to avoid the crash? below is my main steps to create the scene: 1,load the local slpk Uri treespk = new System.Uri(slpkPath); var sceneLayer = new ArcGISSceneLayer(); // add the scene layer to the scene sceneLayer.Source = treespk; sceneView.Scene.OperationalLayers.Add(sceneLayer); 2,load the local elevation file with "tif" suffix. var elevationSource = new RasterElevationSource(myFiles); // Add elevationSource to BaseSurface's ElevationSources sceneView.Scene.BaseSurface.ElevationSources.Add(elevationSource);

Thanks for reply. I tried explicitly calling LoadAsync() and found that it worked correctly. the file path is not an issue. I am a bit doubt that there is something wrong with my slpk file as it's the some result(see below snapshot) when i open it via Arcgis Earth. any clues? by the way, the slpk contrains 3D models which is generated by smart 3d software. Could you provide some sample 'correct' slpk file for testing my code?

Hi, I tried on 100.2.1, however, i didn't see my slpk data on the scene control, the region displays gray. i generated the slpk via smart3d, anything i miss? see my code snippet below. private void LoadSceneTest() { // Create new Scene Scene myScene = new Scene(); // Set Scene's base map property myScene.Basemap = Basemap.CreateImagery(); var _elevationSourceUrl = new Uri(@"https://scene.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/BREST_DTM_1M/ImageServer"); // Create and add an elevation source for the Scene //ArcGISTiledElevationSource elevationSrc = new ArcGISTiledElevationSource(_elevationSourceUrl); //myScene.BaseSurface.ElevationSources.Add(elevationSrc); Uri treespk = new System.Uri(@"F:\JointSurvey\数据\倾斜三维\SPK\海沧\spk\spk.slpk"); var treeLayer = new ArcGISSceneLayer(); // add the scene layer to the scene treeLayer.Source = treespk; //await treeLayer.LoadAsync(); myScene.OperationalLayers.Add(treeLayer); // Create a camera with coordinates showing layer data Camera camera = new Camera(24.515519999999999, 117.989097000000000, 300, 344, 0, 71.17); // Assign the Scene to the SceneView MySceneView.Scene = myScene; // Set view point of scene view using camera MySceneView.SetViewpointCameraAsync(camera); } I also debug the code and found that the treeLayer is loaded correctly and visible. by the way the slpk contrains 3D models from osgb format.

Hi Freddie, I found a strange thing: it works well when i export list of graphics as type of polyline or Mappoint using your code, however i got "esriJobStatus.esriJobFailed" when i executed the same thing for list of graphics as type of polygon. I tested the code using States(failed to export), Highways(success) and Cities(success) layers in USCitiesStatesEdit.mpk which is included in the sample data after getting the Arcgis Runtime for WPF installed. Is there any thing i am missing? or it's due to the gpk limitation you made. By the way, could you help me out on how to create the "copy features" gpk?

Thanks Freddie for your help very much. I have tried your uploaded sample and it works perfectly. In addition, I have made a bit change to your code using arcgis runtime for WPF apis and it approves that it works as expected. Thanks again.

Thanks Freddie for your hepful sample. However, i got some problem following your code: 1, After it executs SubmitJobAsync method, at first, the state of "result" becomes "submitted", and then it's state is "Failed" without any more error information. 2, I did see a message saying that "Copy Features Tool requires ArcGIS Runtime Standard with Geoprocessing deployment" when i creates the gpk. I a bit doubt that this is the reason why it fails on step 1 as I am currently using a develpment license, am i right?
