File Geodatabase and no it is not symbology/unique values related, just using default. I think this is video driver related. Behavior changes if I move Pro instance between monitors.

Simple creating a new feature (polyline) and the object does not show up on screen until i save, remove feature layer and then readd feature layer. Anyone else experience this?

Thanks Harvey and yes I'm experiencing the same behavior. Agree with the irritation level. At this point I am not going to use Pro for production work until a more stable version is available.

Trying to use the transparency slider in layout view is very buggy. If I try to use slider, enter manually, or use the up/down arrows to change layer transparency the software will loose the "focus" and close the Feature Layer ribbon group. I've noticed similar behavior in other tools but the transparency slider seems to be buggier than most.

Thanks Sean for confirming the option to set streaming interval is available. For my install, I had to reboot after install for that to work (i.e. pressing O initially did not open options dialogue). Testing stream mode digitizing after reboot is no better, causing crash with numerous different configurations on multiple computers.

I was able to open a map series and successfully export subset of pages to pdf with no crash so definitely a universal bug.

Nice to see this feature was added to 2.3 but it needs a way to manually set the vertex interval like in previous versions. As it stands now, the resulting digitized line is made up of an auto-incremented set of vertices that are dependent on the map frame current view scale. Successive vertices are also only generated at 90 or 45 degrees which is very limiting. It also is very unstable and crashing the software if too many vertices are generated. No error message or or log is created, Pro just closes when trying to finish sketch or view vertices. Seems to be zoom level/scale dependent.

This is another critical tool that does not appear to be supported in Pro yet. ESRI wants us to consider Pro a finished and polished product (i.e. not beta) stop removing critical features.

Thanks for the suggestion Dan. I found one thread regarding this topic, Streaming mode in ArcPro and upvoted but this just feels like another addition by subtraction "feature" from ESRI. I know quite a few users that refuse to move to Pro due to similar issues.

This topic is a year old and this feature still has not been implemented in ArcgisPro (at least I can't find it). This is a basic feature available from Arcview 3.x - ArcMap 10.5. Stuff like this is why people scoff at ArcGisPro, get it together ESRI.

I'm receiving the following error when attempting to install ArcHydro, "arc hydro tools (x64) c:\python27\arcgisx6410.1\lib\site-packages\archydrotools.pth not found" At this point the installation rolls back and fails. Any ideas? Thanks

Did you install SP4? It seems to have broken the basemap feature for some users.

I think what you are looking for is the "Add Surface Information" tool. 3D Analyst --> Functional Surface --> Add Surface Information This will write the TIN value as an attribute to the Point Feature class.

You may also want to periodically check the ESRI ftp site. Updates and version history information is posted there for ArcHydro and other water resources utilities. ftp.esri.com Login: RiverHydraulics pass: river.1114
