I am trying to work out how to have the arcmap active view refresh every few minutes or so automatically. This is so I can track the movement of some ships. At this stage it is to prove a concept. I know there is the arcpy.RefreshActiveView function, but I need it automatically plus the time frame. Any ideas? This is for Version 10

I am sure people have been asking about this one for a while. I have 3 bathymetry surfaces, and non-gis people want to be able to draw a line and compare the 3 different profiles toghether. Can this be done or would it need to be customised. I have trialled CrossView and it does not suit my requirements. Any help, suggestions or direction would be appreciated.

Hello, I have put in my raster data, built it and compiled it. All looks good. However, when it is published and I soom in beyond 550 it goes all white. The imagery we are using can zoom in more. When I look at the preview created with teh footprint etc, I can zoom in perfectly, however I keep getting this message: [ISDefClient.LoadServiceIfRequired] Loading image service... [ISDefClient.LoadServiceIfRequired] Service loaded successfully. [ServiceCore.ImageService.LoadServiceDefinition] Service Definition Source : \\xxxx\xxxxx\xxxxx\xxxxx.ISDef\ImageService.ISDef [ImageServiceDB.SeRasterItemStore.SelectRasterItems : 008029] Error: No rasters were selected for the selection criteria. Could this be the reason? Everytime I try something new, it takes ages to build. Any ideas (Maybe I am just doing something way wrong) Thanks
