Thanks for the help. This thread provided the needed solution. The inline variable referencing the calculated variable was what i wasn't getting before. Thanks again:)

Hi Rachel. It doesn't look like table to table will let me input a file geodatabase and copy doesn't have anywhere to load in Python code.

I'm trying to do something similar, I'm looking to copy a file geodatabase on a quarterly basis and have it saved with the same name and the date on the end of the geodatabase name. 'Table to table' will not work in this workflow and it does not look like copy will either. Any ideas?

Nathan, Thanks for the response. I saw the link you referenced and I guess what threw me off is the last modified date of November 4, 2016 listed on that page? I've watched a couple of OSM videos and I think they mentioned they update the tiling weekly?

How often does ArcGIS Online update the Openstreetmap basemap? If I make edits in Openstreetmap and push those local edits back up to openstreetmap using the ArcMap editor, how long does it take to show up in the ArcGIS Online openstreetmap basemap? Thanks.

Have you looked into the Snap (editing) tool? http://help.arcgis.com/en/arcgisdesktop/10.0/help/index.html#//001v00000007000000.htm Thanks. That was the tool that i was looking for.

Thanks for the response but I'm looking for a tool that would move lines that were already created and snap them to lines that they should be coincident with. We have a whole bunch of zoning lines that are about 1 foot off from the parcel lines that they should be coincident with. Is there a tool that would move a zoning line that is within 1 foot of a parcel line and snap it to that parcel line?

Is there a tool that will make zoning lines move to line up with parcel lines within a set tolerance? We have alot of zoning lines that are ~ 1 foot off the parcel line that they should be on and are causing topology errors.

Thanks to John, Doug, and Amir for your replies. It helps to hear about some success with the parcel fabric. Did you guys encounter the gaps that were mentioned above. if so, what was your workaround? I'm from a small county who only has ~ 14,000 parcels. We have been updating our parcels since 2003 using an Autocad/ESRI solution setup by a third party consultant. All of the COGO work, annotation, tax map printing is done in Autocad. A coverage is created at the end of the process with some QA/QC checks done in ARCINFO. Due to the third party software we are currently using we are still using ARCINFO 9.3.1 but are hoping to upgrade to 10.0 over the next couple of weeks. I've read all the professional articles and the white paper and am at the point where i guess i need to setup a test of the local govenrment model/parcel fabric when we make the switch over.

I work for a county who also is looking at making the move to the parcel fabric. I've just started the process and was excited at the potential but now after reading the above posts am leery of moving ahead. Can Abarmaor provide us with the numbers of localities using the parcel fabric or some success stories? Rob and pmbushore thanks for your posts and can you guys post more as you go along. It would be appreciated by someone who is a little behind you in the process.
