Does anyone know where the version of Portal for ArcGIS is stored and if I can modify it? I am trying to upgrade a 10.8.1 install to 10.9, and I'm getting an error that indicates that the license file thinks that I'm at 10.2 and not 10.8.1. This is a DEV environment, so this is not the end of the world, but I'm just curious more than anything else...

Anat, I believe that you will need to use a client like VMWare Horizon (Blast) or Citrix Xen Desktop, with NVIDIA vGPUs. Even then, your 2 servers would have to be pretty powerful to support 150 users for ArcGIS Pro. -Ryan

Just to clarify - you are looking to support 50 users with the one HP server and one T4 GPU?

I just completed the Notebook Server installation process and everything appeared to go well. Federation, and registering as a notebook server in Portal also completed successfully. However, when I click on the Notebook link in Portal, I get the following message: The CA signed SSL Certificate is set up correctly. Also, the manager page just hangs: Does anyone have any thoughts on what I might be missing? Thanks, -Ryan

In ArcGIS Pro 2.5, I'm trying to add a domain network (i.e. GasDistribution) to a newly created utility network (Only has the Structure Network), but I get this message: ERROR 002144: The account logged into Portal must be the owner of the utility network to perform this operation. Failed to execute (AddDomainNetwork). Adding a domain network should only be something that is done at the database level - why does it matter who is logged into Portal (as long as the user has a Utility Network license)? Thank you for your help. -Ryan

I export the asset package, then I have to import the asset package to the File GeoDatabase? This requires me to have a functioning Utility Network in the File GeoDatabase first. This is not what I want - I want an empty File GeoDatabase, with the ability to copy/paste everything that I have from an Enterprise GDB, including the utility network. This is a simple function with the Geometric Network, and it just looks like a bug in ArcGIS Pro 2.5.

In ArcGIS Pro 2.5, I created a Utility Network with 2 Domain Networks in an SDE GeoDatabase. When I try to copy the feature dataset containing the UN to a File GDB, it fails (around 3%) with the following error: Does a UN require data before it can be moved? It would be nice to be able to copy a blank UN to a FGDB for testing.

ArcGIS Pro 2.4.2 and ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.1 I have a user with a User Type = Viewer, and Role = Viewer. This user is not able to edit a branch feature service in Portal Map Viewer, but is able to edit in ArcGIS Pro (i.e. Create a version, change to that version and edit features). Is there an additional step that I would need to take in order to prevent the Viewer from editing in Pro? Thanks, -Ryan

This is actually mind boggling. It looks like it worked, and behaves like it worked until you close the connection. Next time in, the field is a GLOBALID again and not a GUID.

These alerts are classified as "warnings", but are actually not warnings at all - I know that I have 3 federated servers that will never be hosting servers. Is there a way that I can set ArcGIS Monitor to ignore these? It only clutters the warning logs.

I re-ran the post install, and the only thing that I did differently was to move the location of the data from the D drive to the C drive where the software was installed. Everything worked great after that...

Brand new install, Windows Server 2016, MongoDB 4.0. After a few seconds, the Windows service stops running. I have a hosting server set up with a 3-node SpatioTemporal Datastore that is used by a federated GeoEvent server. If I add a federated GeoAnalytics server, will it use the same 3-node SpatioTemporal datastore? If yes, will there be sufficient resources for both? Or do I add additional Datastore servers to create another 3-node SpatioTemporal Datastore? I don't see a way to configure specific datastore servers for use with GeoEvent vs GeoAnalytics. Thank you for your help. -Ryan
