Thank you, Jake. I recall a few years back that it was possible to geocode in ArcMap (Desktop) using one of your locator services, and that it didn't consume credits. I wasn't certain if that was the case for routing as well. I appreciate your response. Ray

hey Dylan, Turns out the issue was IT related. I support multiple organizations through a central server located at my facility. The end users were a fire department at another city that were using Verizon air cards (mifi) and a VPN to their servers. They could access the server on our network as well, but our server did not know how to get back to them. Once the IT folks established the route from our servers back to theirs, Collector would work as it should. I am not an IT person, so hopefully the above makes sense. If not, let me know and I will try provide a better explanation. Thanks . . . Ray

If I were to use esri's North American Routing Service from ArcGIS Online inside of a mxd in ArcMap, would it utilize our organization's AGOL credits? I am logged into into our organization's AGOL account in ArcMap.

I have noticed a similar situation when opening a project in Collector on an android phone vs an iPad mini. I am on the same internal wi-fi network and opening the same project on each device. There are two services in the project. One is a feature service and the other is a map service. Both services load on the android phone without problem, but I receive a Layer Not Loaded message for both services on the iOS device. Here are partial URLs for the two services, so I am uncertain if the layer list issue above is what is holding me back. Feature Service - .../arcgis/rest/services/MFDHydrantInspection/FeatureServer/0 Map Service - ...arcgis/rest/services/MFDServiceZones/MapServer/0 I checked the Collector version and it is 10.4, build 1402. Any thoughts?

I am having difficulty searching for an address with Explorer for ArcGIS, and am wondering if there is a setting that I am missing. When I use Explorer for ArcGIS (iPad Mini, iOS v7.1.2) and enter an address in the search bar, I receive the No Results notification. If I open this same web map on my desktop, I am able to toggle between my geocoding locator (which has been added to my organization) or esri's World Locator. Also, I am able to open the same web map using ArcGIS for iOS (green app) on the same iPad and am able to search by an address without issue. I have made certain that when editing the web map properties that the check box for Find Locations using Address is checked. If I enable Find Locations by Layer and set the layer to our address points, the search function in Explorer for ArcGIS will find the location (it won't zoom to it, but it'll find it). Anyone else have this issue? Is there something that I am missing as far as getting this to work properly? Thank you for your time! Ray

I would like to use the picture marker symbols found in the following location for a crime mapping app: http://mappingcenter.esri.com/index.cfm?fa=arcgisResources.gateway I would like to use them with the UniqueValueRenderer to symbolize specific UCR codes, but I am uncertain the best way to determine the source of the picture markers. I have saved the style file to my local ArcGIS install folder (C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Styles), but am having a difficult time determining how to separate the ones that I need out from the rest so that I can place them in my Assets\Images folder. Any assistance is greatly appreciated! thank you
