Related to this topic, what behavior is meant to happen for experiences shared with the public? When I am signed in and there is an active token I am seeing my organizations basemap and search widget configuration, however in incognito mode I am getting ESRI basemaps and Esri Geocoder. My experience is hosted in arcgis.com, so I am not using Dev Edition. https://maps.calgary.ca/RoadConditions/ Our Organizational Basemap and geocoder items are all public facing, but unlike WAB I am not able to configure it successfully to consume. Any advice welcome.

Just a follow up that I did solve my issue. I created a variable fsBuffer = "InfrastructureProjects" that I then referenced in the "className" line. This passed the value and the buffer was created.

Hi, I am having a similair issue with an attribute rule I am trying to implement. Took Hussein's "Buffer a Point Feature Rule" and changed the polygon classname to my layer on slqserver. "className" : "[Sandbox1].[coc\rfindlay].[INFRASTRUCTUREPROJECTS]". it couldn't find the table. I figured the square braces was the right syntax, Catalog refers to the layer as Sandbox1."coc\rfindlay".INFRASTRUCTUREPROJECTS, and the quotes and slashes i think are making trouble for me. Any help welcome. Cheers

Found this thread. looks like I needed to delete the DefinitionQuery attribute from the JSON save and then reapply the Query. While it worked, I am not happy about having to go through the back door and break the layer before I can fix it. . Thanks to John Marino for answering in the post below. How to use the Update Definition operation on a hosted layer view in AGOL

Hi, I am trying to update a domain within a hosted feature view for the Citizen Reporter Solution. I want to remove a value from the domain, and add a new one for Problem Type. When I go to the field details for that field the list is not editable. So I try the back door and update the definition through REST. But after updating the definition, and the LastEdit Date I save and I get an error about the DefinitionQuery attribute being invalid. I check the bugs and BUG-000114175 states all is as designed. So how can I modify my view?

Similar to the Layer list search functionality, i would like to be able to search of a layer to turn on select-ability in web appbuilder . I have an app with lots of layers and while the default is selection off, my users would like to easily find the layer by name of what they want to turn on. Presently they need to scroll through the 80+ layers in the web map.#web appbuilder 2.15

I am incredibly frustrated by the design of the slideshow widget. I have used it in an public engagement story for our ward boundary review. The public feedback in not good. The first comment is that the themes do not have enough contrast. The slideshow collapse button doesn’t seem to be catching the users eye and so I have had to spell it out for them to see the image behind. Secondly the JS 4.X api docked pop ups is great but, on a desk top they are docked bottom left which interferes with the go back action when I try to zoom to with the pop up. I would like to have more control of this when setting up my story. Lastly, it doesn’t seem to like being embedded. The scrolling If run over text on a mobile device is not really working as I would expect when embedded so I needed to delete the huge text for the title and tag line, now it is just white space. I would like to be able to set the font size, let’s say a max/min of 4 pix either way. I want to move to the new API, I am ready to change but this is not the experience I want in my story maps. When doing service area analysis, and setting polygon accumulation to "Split", why does Pro (Pro 2.4.0) still introduce overlapping areas, when ArcMap doesn't? I need to have discrete boundaries that don't overlap, how do I do this? Melinda Morang any advice?

Are hosted feature views supported with multi patch features? I have a geodatabase that I have zipped and loaded to the cloud that has multi patch features in it for use in a web scene. I want to be able to update the 3D features while still being able to share the content publicly without the risk of having the layers editable always. So is 3D data really any different then 2D data? How can I achieve my goal?

I just wanted to add my 2 cents here. I also have a use case, we have a need for clients to select a number of locations to relate to a permit application. Hypothetically, let's say it is street performers. We would like for them to select their top 5 favorite designated performance spaces and have those places have a related record with the performers details attached at the time of submission. Then once in the table we can evaluate the related records and respond with the appropriate permissions. Is WAB the right tool, it is what I am most familiar with, if not would Survey123 be the next avenue for me to investigate? Thanks for your time, Ross
