I used the code you provided on GitHub and it worked! There was something clearly wrong with my code. Sorry for sending you on a wild goose chase. Your input was very helpful. Thank you!

As far as I know. It's got the same title and I've tried the following code in the load block and it reaches the print statements. portalItem.load { (error) in guard error == nil else { return } print("item title \(portalItem.title)") -> "Title" if (portalItem.type == .featureService){ guard let url = portalItem.serviceURL?.appendingPathComponent("0", isDirectory: false) else { return } print("feature service") -> "feature service" print(url) -> 0 } }

I've tried loading the item. Still no url. Sorry shouldn't have included the title in the "unloaded" example. portalItem.load { (error) in guard error == nil else { return } print("item title \(portalItem.title)") -> "Title" if let itemURL = portalItem.serviceURL{ print(itemURL.absoluteString) -> "" } }

Hi, Trying to access the info of a feature service portal item via itemID. I'm able to access other properties like title but not the serviceURL. I've tried in both online and on premise but to no avail. The items are shared with my user via a group. I've even tried loading the item (portalItem.load) and still the url is empty. Not sure if a bug or I am missing something obvious. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Example code below. Thank you. func getPortalFeatureServiceItem(){ guard let portal = self.portal else { return } let portalItem = AGSPortalItem(portal: portal, itemID: "ID") if let itemURL = portalItem.serviceURL{ print(itemURL.absoluteString) -> "" //itemUrl gets set but is empty } print("item title \(portalItem.title)") -> "Title" }

I was under the impression the callout delegate func was only called for tap ("click") and not for end tap and hold Displaying a callout—ArcGIS Runtime SDK for iOS | ArcGIS for Developers It is firing in both instances in my app. Is this expected behavior? Am I missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The old cursor as well as .NET ArcObjects have the same issue. I did find that the number of fields returned with arcpy.da had some effect on the number of records returned.

Hi Roland, I saw your first part of the feature layer drawing info in your REST services. How did your mxml file to consume those feature template? I am not really sure you just want to show feature symbol as legend or to create features by using the feature template. Please see these links as reference: For legend used: https://developers.arcgis.com/en/flex/sample-code/legend-component.htm For Template Picker" https://developers.arcgis.com/en/flex/sample-code/templatepicker.htm Hi Nathan, Sorry, I wasn't very clear with my explanation. Its the template picker that is built into the editor that is rendering the last symbol incorrectly. I'm not doing anything on my end in the MXML to render the swatches. It happens automagically. The symbols (as far as I understand it) are rendered based on the feature template associated with the service. For some reason the last one is incorrect once Flex gets a hold of it (as can be seen in the pic). Best, Roland

Experiencing issue with editor and feature template on last symbol (it is a PictureMarker but should be SimpleFill). Below you can see the drawing info from the rest service (Sorry for the formatting.) Also, attached is an image of the resulting feature template represented in Flex. As you can see the symbol for Weekly (7-10 days) is not correct. For some reason it is a PictureMarkerSymbol when everything else is a SimpleFillSymbol (see dump from templateList.dataProvider below). This may just be a bug, but if anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated. Does anyone have experience setting a dynamic token in the proxy? I'm using the .NET proxy page and noticed comment on line 130, "TODO: ?modify so can generate a new short-lived token from username/password in the config file". Just wondering if anyone has had any success in implementing this. Thanks in advance.

Works in 3.3. Seems that with 3.4 its an issue with the new validation functionality. Unfortunately the validation is what I need.

I found this bug trying to set up my own edit widget. Decided to double check in the default viewer to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong. Got the same result. Apologies in advance, this should probably be in the api forum. 1. Open Edit Widget 2. Check "San Francisco 3-1-1 Incidents" 3. Click feature on map to open inspector 4. Edit any attribute 5. Click Ok 6. Click Undo and receive the following error: TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference. at com.esri.ags.components::AttributeInspector/validate() at com.esri.ags.components::AttributeInspector/set activeFeatureIndex$() at com.esri.ags.components::AttributeInspector/set activeFeatureIndex() at com.esri.ags.components::AttributeInspector/refresh() at com.esri.ags.components.supportClasses::EditAttributesOperation/undoattributeInspector_editsCompleteHandler() at mx.rpc::AsyncResponder/result() at com.esri.ags.tasks::FeatureLayerTask/handleApplyEdits() at Function/http://adobe.com/AS3/2006/builtin::call() at com.esri.ags.tasks::BaseTask/handleResultEvent() at mx.rpc::AsyncResponder/result() at mx.rpc::AsyncToken/http://www.adobe.com/2006/flex/mx/internal::applyResult() at mx.rpc.events::ResultEvent/http://www.adobe.com/2006/flex/mx/internal::callTokenResponders() at HTTPOperation/http://www.adobe.com/2006/flex/mx/internal::dispatchRpcEvent() at mx.rpc::AbstractInvoker/http://www.adobe.com/2006/flex/mx/internal::resultHandler() at mx.rpc::Responder/result() at mx.rpc::AsyncRequest/acknowledge() at DirectHTTPMessageResponder/completeHandler() at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEventFunction() at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEvent() at flash.net::URLLoader/onComplete()
