Hi Kyle, Have a look at 'Build Report' section of BAO. This should help you achieve what you're looking for. Hi Tinia, Have a look at Fusion Report Designer of Business Analyst Desktop. Using BA Desktop, you can create custom BDS layers using your own data and then bring them into Fusion Report Designer to create reports. Fusion Report Designer—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop Building a report—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop I hope this helps! Thanks, Rakesh

Hi Adam, It seems like you're downloading the data directly through the browser download and not using the 'Esri Download Manager'. Kindly try using the Esri Download Manager and see if you come across the same issue. I hope this helps! Thanks, Rakesh

Hi Chris, I'm not sure if this has been resolved for you however would you please help me with the following information such that I can assist? 1. Do you have multiple versions of BA desktop installed on your machine? 2. Do you have multiple datasets (ex, 2014, 2015 and 2016) installed on your machine? I hope 2016 data sdlic file has been added to provision the data. 3. Are you able to create a drive time or a trade area? 4. Are you receiving any errors? Kindly share the screenshot showing the error code and details. 5. Did you receive the installation files on a flash drive from Esri or downloaded from the CC portal? 6. Do you see tools grayed out on the BA toolbar or the BA toolbar drop down? 7. Have you tried changing the location of Output Data folder? 8. You mentioned that you performed an uninstall/reinstall of BA on your machine. Was it a clean uninstall where you deleted every reference of the software from the machine including registry editor? If not, this could be tried later if nothing works. 9. Are you working on a Windows 10 machine? If so, please refer the following link and check if the steps were followed correctly while installing the software and the data update. Installing Esri Business Analyst 2016 data Installing Esri Business Analyst 2016 data—Business Analyst Desktop | ArcGIS Looking forward for your response! Thanks, Rakesh

Business Analyst Desktop isn't available for trial however you can still check the customer service team. However, you can access Business Analyst Online. Check the Free Trial section on the following link to access BAO: http://www.esri.com/software/businessanalyst/get-started/saas I hope this helps! Cheers! Rakesh

Hi James, You need to share the point dataset to ArcGIS Online (AGOL) from BAO either in the default folder or the folder of your choice while sharing on AGOL. Once the point data is shared, login to ArcGIS Online (http://www.arcgis.com/home/) and open the shared points dataset in AGOL and click on publish. This publishes the point data as a service. Once published the page is auto-refreshed and you would get multiple options for exporting under 'Layers'. The first option under the drop-down will be 'Export to Shapefile'. I hope this helps! Thanks, Rakesh

Hi Blake, Business Analyst is a very permission centric application and it seems as if during the installation you have installed the 2014 data update for the current user only due to which this issue is coming up. In order to fix this you need to navigate to C:\ArcGIS\Business Analyst folder. Right click on the folder > properties > Security tab > under groups or user names, click on edit and add the users whom you want to grant access and set their permission as full control > Apply > Ok > Close. You need to perform this operation only if you are the administrator and logged as one. Once done, you may ask the other users to logon to the same machine and try accessing the data. This should fix the issue for the other users. I hope this helps! Thanks, Rakesh

Hi Mutahar, I am not sure if you still have this question unanswered, but these are the links to the help resources related to ArcGIS Engine: https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/desktop/latest/get-started/quick-start-guides/arcgis-engine-developer-kit-and-engine-quick-start-guide.htm http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/arcgisengine Link to a white paper on delivering custom applications using ArcGIS Engine: http://www.esri.com/~/media/Files/Pdfs/library/whitepapers/pdfs/arcgis-engine.pdf It lists the ArcGIS Engine object libraries and gives examples of applications that can be built with ArcGIS Engine. I hope this helps! -Rakesh

Congratulations to all the winners! Xander, I totally agree with you. I use to be a part of Esri (Redlands) tech support but chose to use my personal id just to avoid any confusions. To be honest I created this new Id after leaving Esri support. Though I may not be a part of Esri anymore but I still love working with ArcGIS and specially Esri Business Analyst applications.

Hi Dylan, Have you tried adding the layer to a blank map document and then performing CLIP? If not, please give it a try. Also, execute 'Check Geometry' tool on the layer and see if it is able to find any error. If it is still throwing the same error, it would be great if you could upload that shapefile as a zipped attachment here such that others can take a look. Thanks, Rakesh

Okay... Once you edit the results in CA, it asks you to re-save the layer with a name. Use a different name there (something not used earlier) as the previous layer exists in CA My Contents > My layers > Business Points (NOT in AGOL) and would not let you save with the same name. Unless you have the layer you wouldn't be able to edit the results. I hope this makes sense.

Hi Melissa, It seems as if AGOL is still reading the older layers in the backend. It might also be possible that the layers or one of the Service definition file still exits. How actually you are trying to publish the layer to AGOL? Where and how you edited the layers? Did you create a local copy of the layers in ArcGIS Desktop and synchronised it back with AGOL? Please help me with the answers such that I can better assist you. Thanks, Rakesh
