I'm trying to set up a flow in Power Automate using the ArcGIS Enterprise connector. I have a SharePoint List of parcels with a column for Status. When the Status is updated in the List, I need it to update a field called Definition 1 in the Enterprise Portal feature layer then send an email with the parcelnum or PIDN and the Status change. The basic flow I have so far is: When an item is created or modified - Trigger Update a record in a feature layer - Action Send an email - Action I get the email with the parcelnum and new Status but I don't know the correct expression to make Definition 1 become populated with that Status change. A version of the table used to created the SharePoint list is attached as well as an image of the required inputs for the flow. Any help/advice is much appreciated!

End users of maps really like it when the shape of an Area of Interest in the map is reflected in the legend. Non-GIS users also think it makes layouts more eye catching.

Hi Amarz! We are experiencing the same issue that in a web map/app a given layer that was overwritten says "An error occurred loading this layer" but I can view the layer on it's own or in a fresh web map/app just fine. We'll try syncing our layers inside the Data Store. Thanks for the possible solution!

It would be helpful to be able to import GeoPDFs without having to convert them to another format. Often we receive GeoPDFs but our internal users are not able to overlay any of our Portal data on top of them since GeoPDFs aren't a supported file format for ArcGIS Earth.

My company has asked for this same functionality. I'm encouraging our team to replace Google Earth with ArcGIS Earth and this option would make a difference. Any updates/comments on this would be much appreciated!

Hi @RussRoberts , Can any AGOL user follow this workflow (e.g. those with only Editor license)? I will try this workflow and add it to my notes for future use. Thanks for commenting!

It would be great if we had the ability to export or download layers that were created from using the Sketch Tool. The tool is good for visualization but my team needs the ability to share these sketches with each other for use in ArcGIS Pro, Desktop, and Earth. Workflow would be something like Draw shape(s) using the Sketch Tool >> Export or download sketch layer as shapefile/KML/CSV/etc.

I saved a web map using the Beta version with a few bookmarks for different locations. Then I created a web app from that map. When I added the Bookmark widget to the web app, it would stick on the configure screen (screen capture attached) and not let me make any changes. It also wouldn't let me add any bookmarks both in Edit mode and Viewer. Once I removed my original bookmarks from the web map, the web app Bookmark widget worked just fine. Is the AGOL team making any updates to the Beta version for future release? Any help and information is always appreciate. Thanks! The AGOL team works really hard and does a great job. 🙂

Thanks, Dan, for clarifying! If you are curious what the final script is, my corrections to the snippet are below. # Calculate variable text fields rows = arcpy.UpdateCursor(SHAPEFILE) for row in rows: row.PRJNAME = Project_Name rows.updateRow(row) row.CLIENT = Project_Client rows.updateRow(row) row.AREA = Project_Area rows.updateRow(row) # This is the correct thing to do to get the script to work properly with the ToolValidation code. row.DATATYPE = str(Data_Type_or_Types) rows.updateRow(row)

Since posting this, I have revised my code but the script is still not working completely. The field i'm trying to populate from the checkbox choices won't populate even though the script says it ran correctly. I've provided both my Script and the Validation code I'm using. Hello all, I want to allow the user who runs the script to select however many choices from a list to populate a field. The choices are all string values I created in the script tool parameters using the Value List Filter for the Expression parameter. For example: After using Add Field function, I need to populate/calculate the "Choices" attribute column. *The Choices field is not present before running the script. This is just to help visualize what I need. The script window. The following is the code for this script. *This was extracted from Model Builder. The following is the validation code for the script (which is the standard for a new script). The following shows the parameters for the script. The following is the error message I get when running the script. I am new to Python and could use some guidance. Thanks, Sarah

If a feature class is clipped to a specific AOI (area of interest) and we utilize the original layer file (.lyr) to represent the newly clipped polygons (in this instance) there will be unused symbols displayed in the classification of the unique values and in the final legend (see screen capture below). The current solution is to manually select one by one (or alt select) to remove the unused classifications/symbology. Would like to see ESRI add a simple sort ascending or descending tool to the “Count” column to easily sort out all the unused symoblogy. In this instance it was easy to select the 22 geological classifications and manually remove them. Yet, there are instances with other data sets that may contain100+ unique values that need to be manipulated and cleaned before final representation in a legend.
