In ArcMap, if I wanted to offset a point symbol, X moved it right, -X moved it left, Y moved it up, -Y moved it down. But in ArcGIS Pro, it's completely backwards??!?! X moves it left, Y moves it down, etc. This is really messing with my workflow/my brain. Why?!? Is it a setting I need to change? Is there some logic I am missing here? Any insight greatly appreciated!

@KFung_TLC I came here looking for a solution (now that I am forcing myself into what is so far a painful transition into Pro) and this is the exact problem I am facing too. I cannot believe that we are where we are, and yet still cannot do something that could be done 20 years ago in ArcView.

I just created a slide series of heat maps in AGOL (so much potential here!) showing a time series of events. However, when I run the presentation, there is a pause between the slides, i.e. Shows data for week 1 Data disappears for a few seconds, only basemap is visible Shows data for week 2 Data disappears for a few seconds, only basemap is visible etc. The idea was that AGOL would allow us to easily watch the spread of events over space and time. I guess I had assumed the presentation would transition straight from one slide to the next. However, the time lag makes viewing the presentation really choppy. The blank map means that by the time the next dataset displays, you've forgotten what the last one looked like. This small thing makes the whole presentation of very limited utility, and I have had to revert back to boring old static slides animated in PowerPoint. Is this just a function of our network connection or is this normal behaviour? Is this something that will be improved in the future?

I'm fairly new to ArcGIS Online but spent some time building a map today. I have one feature layer in the map (points, representing events over time) and used the filter to create selection layers (breaking it down by week). However, when I go to build the presentation, it does not retain the filters - each filtered layer should show only that week's events, but in the presentation builder, all events show up. Is this a bug or am I tryin to do something that's not possible? Thanks Tracy

Thank you so much Jenora for such a speedy response! The updated toolbox works perfectly. I'm working on some exploratory disease analysis and am just trying to determine the best tools for this particular job. I've definitely been exploring the Space Time Pattern Mining tools as well. Thanks for your help!

I can't seem to run the Temporal Collect Events tool. My Python is pretty bad so I am not even sure how to troubleshoot. The other tool in that toolbox (Temportal Collect Polygon) runs fine. Thanks! I am in this exact same boat. I have disease data, where every record represents a person with a certain disease at a specific point in time. I can generate the spatial weights matrix using the space-time window, but cannot run Gi* because my input values are all 1 (since no two people were diagnosed with the same disease on the same date). Collecting events obviously strips the temporal aspect. This is my first attempt at this type of space-time analysis so perhaps I am missing something obvious, but what is the solution to this? Thanks Tracy

Yes, this is precisely what happens to me. Do you have a 64-bit machine by any chance? Nope - you do?
