Hi, In 11.0 and previous releases webgisdr documentation, we see a warning note stating that OS migrations are not supported, ie. from windows to linux and viceversa using webgisdr. We dont see that note in 11.1 documentation. Are these OS migrations supported from 11.1? I tried in a test environment and there seems to be a problem with paths, confusing backwards and forward slashes. @JonathanQuinn Thank you!

Hi all, In our Portal there is also a frequent logging of this error, every 2, 3 or 4 hours during a day. We upgraded to 10.7, but these errors ocurred even when we were at 10.5.1 and 10.6. We have a dedicated machine for Portal, junst one machine, no HA, and at the time of these errors in the portal logs, in the event viewer two events are logged from PostgreSQL: pg_ctl: another server might be running; trying to start server anyway and after this one pg_ctl: could not start server Examine the log output. PostgreSQL is running and listening on port 7654. the db.log has the same lines as described by Michael. So, overall, looks like the same behavior, regardless of HA, or other products installed on the same machine, data store listens on 9876. Someone figured this out?

I think that at 10.7 is still not possible to publish a service to a shared instance. Once is published, you can change the instance type. There is a new operation in the admin rest api: ChangeProvider, using this operation (to DMaps), and editing the service json to modify mininstances (0), maxinstances (0) and Provider (Dmaps), the service´s instance type is changed. I couldnt find documentation of this new operation, and how to programatically change this via a script, yet. Hope this helps.

Hi all, I would like to know if someone already tried to massively change the instance type of an ArcGIS Server Site 10.7. The idea is to detect wich services were authored with Pro, and then change its instance type. I tried to use the Python API 1.6.0 but I didnt find a way to detect the authoring application, and a method to change the instance type, I didnt find what property to change in the service JSON to achieve this. Has anyone tried?

Hello Is there a way for a AD user to login to Portal without adding the domain prefix to the username? Web tier authentication is not an option, but for a better user experience, a customer wants to avoid typing the "domain\". Is this possible?

See if adding /admin to the url solves the issue (https://fqdn/webadaptor/admin). Worked for us.

Hi, I think the problem is, as seen in the images, the content directory is not specified. For some reason the path was not configured, or it was configured, but in the final screen it is not taken into account. I suggest uninstalling ArcGIS Data Store, delete all folders related to Data store including the content directory if it was created, and reinstall. Best regards

Thanks for your quick response rsunderman-esristaff I´ll consider opening an incident with Tech Support. For your information, I kept doing some tests, and discarded certificates issues, and I also tried using only http requests to the stream and setting the WebSocketContextURL to ws://fqdn and still doesnt work in Chrome (subscribes and inmediately unsubscribes). I set up a reverse proxy using nginx, and subscription works in Chrome. So I came to the conclusion that there must be some incompatibility with the combination of 10.6, IIS and Chrome. I´ll keep investigating. Thank you

I have a problem with WebSockets being proxied with ARR and URL rewrite in Geoevent Server 10.6, I cannot subscribe to the stream services using Chrome, Firefox, but it works on Edge and IE. I had it working fine in 10.4.1 and 10.5.1, configured as described in https://community.esri.com/community/gis/enterprise-gis/geoevent/blog/2016/02/05/using-iis-application-request-routing-arr-to-proxy-geoevent-stream-services. I upgraded to 10.6 and stopped working. My first guess was any certificate issue, but requests are being redirected to geoevents 6180 port. Any change on how WebSockets are being handled in 10.6, RJ Sunderman? I had to downgrade to 10.5.1 and subscrption works fine.
