When i say load in values, i mean loading in a list of value choices, not predefined/absolute values for a feature.

Perfect. The attribute inspector was the piece of information i was looking for. It was hiding in plain sight. lol. Question for you John: Do you have any knowledge of extending the attribute inspector? I see that it has constants of textbox, text area and richtext and i was looking to introduce filteringselect/combobox functionality to my application. In reality, i just wanted to load in values so users wouldn't have to type in everything. It would also provide some data editing quality control. Based on what i saw, the functionality i want seems like a stretch, but perhaps i have it wrong. I figured i would ask anyway.

Does anyone know a slick way to click on a point feature on the map and have the attribute data display on a custom form? I know this can be done in a premade popup or it can be done in the premade edit widget, but I am looking to get it into a custom form where I have control of the look and feel of the forms and controls(with filtering boxes, comboboxes, graphics, etc). Many, many thanks in advance.

Thank you. This will help. A couple more newb questions if you don't mind. In the JavaScript file you reference the domConstruct.empty(this.ResultsNode); is this a node that is created by this line of code or is this referring to an HTML element declared in your widget.html file? And when you say your main widget – "GeoCapture gets loaded through the config.json inclusion.", How can one get information on that?lol.

I was wondering/fighting something similar, but you are far ahead of me. Newbie question. How did you know how to create a panel div where you could bring the editor and template picker div's in? I was looking to do something similar and i'm just getting started. Any suggestions or references would be very helpful.

I wasn't able to find any information on this topic. My thinking is that I am going to take a look at building a custom edit widget and see where that goes. If any one has completed this in the past and can offer some advice, it would be super cool. Thanks.

Hi, Well have I got a newbie question. I am new to WebApp Builder and JavaScript but I do have some experience in ArcGIS and C#. What I was looking to do is develop/customize an edit widget to be used exclusively for a specific feature layer. Most importantly, I would like to substitute a lot of the text boxes in my edit form/widget for the combo boxes/filteringselect boxes. It sounds easy enough, but I am struggling to find info. If anyone has completed this and could offer me some pointers, I would be very thankful.

Hi, I am looking for some guidance on modifying the existing smart editor widget or if that's not possible, perhaps some advice on creating an editor widget/template for a feature layer. The smart editor does most f what I want it to, but I would like to add some comboboxes in replace of textboxes and add some predefined lists to those comboboxes. Any suggestions on these topics would be awesome.
