We have a similar problem. The browser (Chrome and Firefox) shows the buffering/loading GIF and actually hangs the window open. Not only does this happen when tying to use the Web App, but also happens when editing the App through AGOL. The table is from a small number of features that are from a published map service on Enterprise Server 10.5.1 ( a very recent upgrade). I hope to find time to call ESRI support on this soon.

Comments from the Explorer iOS Beta discussion: From Justin: We are seeing this also. It seems to be that this happens when the field name and field alias do not match. Justin From Robb: The bug was submitted yesterday. #BUG-000106480 I'm hoping that it gets fixed soon. We noticed pop up issues in features that took part in a group layer...also have search issues with those. There are bugs for all 3 issues. Reply to Justin: Changed field alias to match field name on AGO and that didn't show the attributes. Matched alias and name and re-published map service and that does work. In response to Robb: Also not seeing feature attachments, search config from AGO not honored and yes we have a group layer.

I posted this in the iOS beta place first: We are seeing the same issue with July 10,2017 production release (17.1.0). All feature attributes appear fine in the map viewer pop-ups but not in the explorer app. We see some attributes that are configured in the web map, but not in explorer. Out of 21 fields configured for the pop-up on point feature, we see 5 fields with actual data when selecting a feature (which is painfully slow compared to previous app). Those 5 fields are a mixture of text, coded domain values, dates. The rest of the fields are blank. All data in the web map is from our Enterprise server published map services, shared with the organization. We miss the magnifying glass too! Jeff Johnson Sevier County Utility District

Lane, That is wild !!! I just finished doing the same and it does work. The question does remain about having "datasets" or "groups" ? We only have one layer with attachments and adding another map service doesn't seem to affect the performance of the app so far. We are a natural gas distribution company and we have attached PDF's to about 80% of our meter location point features (we have approx. 14,000 service locations). We are also working with our county water department and have started mapping some of their assets. We are doing that randomly and we don't have a clue about water data models, but I have tried to study a little about water. Thanks, JeffJ

Lane, Same issue with us. Published map service from 10.2.1 enterprise server and no attachment links visible in Explorer (iPad). I understand Mark and Heather about the full REST URL to the layer, but we are publishing from a dataset in the MXD and I'm not sure we want to break those features apart and publish a ton of different services. Our attachments work fine with the AGO viewer and the old ArcGIS app. Seems like it might be a bug. JeffJ

Russ, I have created a web map by adding a layer using a published service from our ArcGIS Server. I'm don't think that is a hosted web layer? I have enabled editing everywhere I can find for the service. JeffJ

We are using versioning and may consider sourcing to DEFAULT. We were using versioned data for ArcGIS Mobile at version 10 and the work flow was great. We could collect hundreds of features then post to SDE in a matter of seconds via desktop connection. The guys could rec and post, connect dots, edit attributes, etc. then post to DEFAULT and everything worked great. Tried to synch two point features this morning and after 26 MINUTES that process was done. I have reported a bug/incident to ESRI and they have replied and mentioned the bug described previously in this thread. ESRI has also suggested publishing some of the data as a tiled mobile cache. Thanks for the reply and I will try and update.

We are experiencing slow synchronize as well using ArcGIS for Windows Mobile (10.2.5000.3581). Just tapping the synchronize button on the mobile device (Trimble GeoXH 6000, Windows Mobile 6.5) results in a 10-20 minute wait for the task to launch. I have attached the mobile project description as a text file to this post. We have just upgraded from 10.0 to 10.2.1 and this is a terrible bug that will kill production.
