Hello. I have a question about the Time Slider/Playback feature in ArcGIS Pro. I am trying to animate the progression of a fire polygon through time with a graduated color ramp. My data is set up with a BeginTime (Date) and an EndTime (Date) to display the acres gained over a 24-hour period. My goal is to display growth with the "hot" colors spreading out from the first polygon (a great example of what I am trying to do can be found at http://simtable.com/apps/fireProgression/output2017/IDPAF_000121_Missouri.html ). Currently, I only have the colors which are set at Day 1 to be fixed spatially. In the below pictures, I have the Day 1 feature start at the cool end of the ramp where it stays and the hot colors waiting to be displayed. It would be ideal to have the hot colors progress spatially through time. Thank you for any help! Day 1 & Day 2 Day 1 - 6

I am wondering if there is a way to manually select the sorting order of maps and apps in a group gallery. I have a gallery of maps embedded in my webpage but am unable to get the most important app in the #1 slot. The current sorting options are by ascending or descending Title, Date, Owner, Rating, and Views. Thank you for any help!

I figured it out. I was making my extent changes without having the Edit pencil selected.

Hello all. I am trying to put together a Cascade style story map with the goal of having a webmap with multiple points of interest, or multi-view. While in the Cascade Builder, I have added a new Immersive section, navigated to my webmap, and begin to set it up. I add new views with the Duplicate button to get the same webmap. However, when I alter the extent of the map in this second view/frame, it alters the extent of the map from the previous view/frame (and all others if there are more than two view/frames). Interestingly enough, the side text box "Continue your story here" does change and cascade properly with the new view/frame. I have followed the process step-by-step and am sure it should be working properly as in the demo/instructions: https://nation.maps.arcgis.com/apps/Cascade/index.html?appid=a644a02894d246b59ecad16fae25b767 and https://nation.maps.arcgis.com/apps/Cascade/index.html?appid=a644a02894d246b59ecad16fae25b767 Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I am experiencing a weird bug(?) with Collector. My collector is set up to collect either points or polygons of vegetation areas. In service, Collector has options for Points layer 1, Polygon layer 1, Points layer 2, Polygon layer 2, Points layer 3 (Image 1). When I download a basemap for Offline use, it switches to Polygon layer 1, Polygon layer 1, Polygon layer 2, Polygon layer 2, Points layer 3 (Image 2). This is occurring in my iPad but not my Android device. All feature layers are hosted in AGOL and shared with my group. Attachments enabled, Editor tracking enabled, all of the options are the same and captured in the Image 3 below. Does anybody know what is going on? The weird thing is that Points layer 3 still shows up as a point feature layer. Any ideas? I couldn't find any threads addressing this. The images are taken from an iPad. Bonus points for how to change the subheadings beneath the layers (Layer 6, Invasive Weeds, Layer 4, etc.) Image 1 Image 2 Image 3 Thank you!

Ismael, I'm wondering if this relevant works with dates. I am calculating "Days on Assignment" by subtracting ${Date2} - ${Date1} with ${Date1} a required field but not ${Date2}. I have figured out the calculation but cannot figure out how to hide ${DaysOn} unless ${Date2} is selected. Date1 and Date2 are type date and DaysOn is an integer. Cheers!

Hello friend. I am pretty basic with Python and have a question about writing out a label. I have an attribute table with multiple fields with floating point acreages in the fields. Not all of the fields necessarily have to contain a value; most of them are <Null>. I am trying to build a label expression for a data driven map book that looks at the fields, and if it it has a value, add it to the label with leading text, then look at the next field. So far, I have using the IF statement and once the statement is true, it stops and does not search for the other true values. Is there any If-and statement that I can use? My code: Function FindLabel ( [BLM] , [BR] , [Private] , [SITLA] ) if ( ( [BLM] ) > 0) then FindLabel = "BLM: " + [BLM] + " acres" elseif ( ( [BR] ) > 0) then FindLabel = "BR: " + [BR] + " acres" elseif ( ( [Private] ) > 0) then FindLabel = "Private: " + [Private] + " acres" elseif ( ( [SITLA] ) > 0) then FindLabel = "SITLA: " + [SITLA] + " acres" end if End Function Assuming that there were acreages in each of the fields except [BR], I would want the label to read BLM: 44.59 acres Private: 89.01 acres SITLA: 1.89 acres Thanks for any help!
