Hi, Currently I am using Bentley Map to display the Oracle spatial data to the user. As my company wants to migrate to ESRI, I need to find a method to display the Oracle spatial data in ArcMap, so that the users can view/edit the data in ArcMap Window. Also I will apply some spatial filters while retrieving the data. For example, get data which fall inside a particular boundary. So, can you suggest me what are all the methods ESRI provides for achieving this process. Thanks Guest2016

Have you tried row.HEIGHT = zVal ( I assume you're using an UpdateCursor)? Yes. 'UpdateCursor' solved it. previously I tried within the SearchCursor. Thanks bruce.nielsen

Hi, In ESRI sample data model diagrams, there are classes like "Feature" and "Object". What is the difference between these 2 classes ? I understand these 2 like, Feature - is a 'feature class' which is spatial data. Object - is a 'table' which is non-spatial data. Kindly let me know whether my understanding is right or something else. Regards, Siva

Hi, I need to create a gdb file from the ESRI Electric Transmission model diagram. Is there any method to directly convert the model diagram (visio) into a gdb file ? Or Do I need to create each feature class one by one in ArcCatalog ? Thanks Siva
