Hi Adrian, I thought you had something there, but if you look at Teton and Hot Springs, they have more than one popup, but don't have the line. Then Vedauwoo off by itself has the line and space. It's random it seems. Thanks for you help though! I appreciate the extra set of eyes. It does not appear to be the image format causing the line and extra space in half of the popups. Any other ideas?

Hi Rupert, I just realized Adrian is not part of ESRI. So I created a group and invited you both. The Geo-tourism Series map is what I'm working with, but the Nearby Sites map is embedded in the series. It's the popups in the series that are causing me heartburn. The only thing I can think of is that the photos are not the same format, causing the line under some titles and not others. And more space. Thanks!Suzanne From: Rupert Essinger <geonet@esri.com> To: Suzanne Luhr <suz_wyo@yahoo.com> Sent: Friday, January 20, 2017 10:15 AM Subject: Re: - Re: why do my popups have same settings but different look? #yiv8477407132 * #yiv8477407132 a #yiv8477407132 body {font-family:Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;}#yiv8477407132 #yiv8477407132 h1, #yiv8477407132 h2, #yiv8477407132 h3, #yiv8477407132 h4, #yiv8477407132 h5, #yiv8477407132 h6, #yiv8477407132 p, #yiv8477407132 hr {}#yiv8477407132 .yiv8477407132button td {} | GeoNet | Re: why do my popups have same settings but different look? reply from Rupert Essinger in Story Maps - View the full discussionHi SuzanneCan you let us know which of the eight Story Map apps you are using? It is a story map. We only have it saved within our organization, so is there a way to share it with you without going public?

VERSUS These are popups in my web map. I want to get rid of the line and extra space in the first popup. There is nothing different about how I made each popup - each has only the title and photo link. Why do they present differently? Image size? Image dimensions?

Thanks Stephen, It didn't work the first time, but I will keep trying! And I would like to experiment with downloading it to our server. We have not done that, but I'd like to try it. Thanks for the example. When you click "save" in the editor, it will save the current extent of the map as the home extent in the app. The map series app will just center the map. To offset it for the description, just move offset it in the map editor and save it again. To your last question about clicking on a point to change the tab, it is not possible in the hosted version of the app. If you are willing to download the app and add a little bit of JavaScript, you can get it to work. Here's an example The World is Full of Circles | Travel | Smithsonian (Look at the last "map" tab). Hi again Steven, Thank you for your reply yesterday. I was a bit confused, so I'm attaching a Word file with some screenshots of my map(s), and comments/questions. I wonder if you can explain to me what exactly you meant by 'map editor' after seeing what I'm working on. Please let me know if my questions make sense, and if you can direct me further. Thank you very much. I really appreciate your help! If you panned your map and saved again in the editor, the Map Series app would use that extent as the home extent. Another possibility if you are using multiple maps, you may have checked the "synchronize map locations" option, in which case, the home extent uses the extent of the first map for all the maps. Hi, This is a Story Map Series app. It worked fine until yesterday, and I'm not sure what I might have done to change the extent, but although the scale is the same, the map shifted. Thanks!

Owen, thank you for your reply. Yes, we've tried Story Map Tour, and in fact have a Map Tour embedded in the Story Map Series. Map Tour wasn't exactly what we wanted, and neither was Map Series, so I tried combining them! I have created a Map Journal, and liked it but the rest of the crew voted it down. I am not a developer, but will show them the example. I have tried Shortlist, but would need more photos than we want to use to fill all the space. Unless the space is adjustable? Thank you for the tips! We might look at downloading and customizing, if we can find the developer.

When clicking on a tab in a Story Map Series, it opens the corresponding popup on the map. But when clicking on the icon on the map, it does NOT open the corresponding tab. It keeps open the tab that was previously shown, which is very confusing and frustrating. Is there a way to open the corresponding tab when clicking on a site on the map? See attachment - I clicked on the map icon, but the original tab is still showing.
