HI Bryant, I was reviewing this response but cannot figure out the solution to the issue about keeping reports hidden. I cannot find the location to change the setting "What features can editors see" to "Editors can't see any features, even those they add". This option is greyed out in our feature layer views. Could you clarify or send a quick screen shot? Thank you so much.

Hi Chris, can you please explain how to make initial reports not visible? I see the solution but in our solution, each of the hosted feature layer views does not have this editing option available - it is greyed out. Thank you.

I saw an ESRI - produced dashboard that did something like this during COVID - everyone would check in and I believe the dashboard kept track of the number of people in the office, the number of remote workers etc. It could be modified, I expect. It was called the Coronavirus Business Continuity app and it worked well. Maybe you could edit it to take out the virus part and just use the check in form and map/dashboard part. Hope this is helpful and sorry I can't remember more...

Displaying and using it in a webmap would be fine. But, the 'calculate' option is not available for the volume field in my webmap, because the feature service is not hosted. So, how do I do this?

I have a volume field in my hydrant web map. It is not hosted, it is a feature service that I created in Enterprise, stored on my GIS server. My field crews are flushing hydrants and storing flow time in minutes (FLOWTIME) and gallons per minute (GPM). I want to calculate total volume from those two fields. It's really simple, but evidently I can only calculate a field in a hosted web map. I have been told to create a python script and run it as a task overnight, but this seems really clunky to me. What am I missing? There must be a way to do this in a web map that is not hosted.

I'm getting this error when I try to load my CAD data into the Fire Incident feature layer - a hosted feature layer which is part of the Fire Incident Dashboard solution. ERROR 002698: No permission to perform the operation upon the datasource. The user does not have permission to execute the operation. [Create capability is not set] Failed to execute (Append). I have checked that the Fire Incident layer has editing capabilities enabled. I get these errors all the time in trying to work through these solutions, but this one has me stumped.

Hi Eric, I have a question about this .csv table. I tested the dashboard with my IT group and their login usernames - it all worked great. But, a lot of our city staff (hundreds of them) are not used to logging into ArcGIS Online, even though we have an ELA and plenty of licenses for them. Could I use a public survey form and use it without the login requirement? If so, would the .csv still need their usernames? Trying to make this less cumbersome for our users - if I can bypass the user login, it would be very helpful. Thank you, Dawn

I am also having this trouble. I downloaded an ArcGIS Pro solution - the land use inquiry - and am trying to load data into one of the hosted feature layers (tax parcels). I cannot load my data to make this solution work. Is there some other way to load my data? I have the same message as above - "Layer is not editable, unknown error". When I try to load the data, I get "user does not have create capability". Thank you.

I have a web map showing utility assets (points) that need to be visited each day. I want to be able to select a portion of the asset points (say 30 per field worker), calculate an optimal route, and display the route in Navigator or other app on Ipad. Can someone suggest how to select features and create multi-stop routes in ArcGIS Online or other ESRI tool? I'm having trouble finding this scenario in the documentation.

Hi Craig, this is still not working. I can search for an address, but not on a field, although it works well in the Dispatch map. I can't seem to reply in geonet. If you've configured the Dispatcher web map with the ability to search for the field; Workforce will search those same fields. A few things to confirm:- Check that you've changed the Dispatcher and not the Worker web map- On the Details page for the Dispatcher web map, under Settings, scroll to the bottom and ensure that you've enabled Find Locations By Layer and configured the layer and fields you'd like to use for search. Was this functionality added? I'm trying to do the same thing when creating assignments. I can do the search in my dispatcher map but not in the actual workforce project. Please let me know, thanks.

I can't get this to work at all. When I configure a filter, and I put in a value for the filter, then try to click on 'Ask for Values', I cannot save the filter. When I do not click 'Ask for Values' and can save the filter, my crowdsource manager shows only those points meeting the filter criteria - regardless of the app configuration. Is there any more documentation on this?

We are considering using our own address locator for this application. Is there any documentation on how to configure the address locator? I have changed the url to our geocoding service, but I'm having trouble understanding the locate fields and other variables in config.js. Thanks.
