Is anyone else experiencing issues with being able to pinch zoom a Javascript API map using an Android 5.0 device? Basically, when you try to zoom in using a pinch gesture, the map zooms out one notch. So far, we're only experiencing this on Android 5.0 devices. Android 4.3 works just fine, and so does iOS. We're using v.3.9 of the JS API and I didn't see anything pertaining to this in any of the release notes after 3.9 up to the current version 3.14. We see this behavior with both our own map apps and ESRI sample maps like this one: http://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/samples/graphics_add/ Thanks, Matt

Hi Roger, I took a look at the XML and the reason it's not loading into ArcDesktop is because it doesn't match the Geodatabase XML schema. A couple options come to mind for getting this into a shape file: 1. Use XSLT to transform this XML into Geodatabase XML schema format. Then you can manually load them using ArcDesktop as mentioned in the original thread. 2. Write a Python script to read the XML files, parse them for the lat/long and create shapes from that. I would recommend Option #2 since you mentioned there are thousands of files. With this option you could create a very nice automated process which picks up those files, parses them and creates all the shapes you need with only one or two clicks. Even more so, if this is a process that you need to perform more than once. You also mentioned that you're new to development. I am a software development consultant and would be happy to help you implement this if you want to go that direction. Thanks, Matt

It should be a link at the top right when you click reply that says "Use advanced editor".

Hi Roger, I think Jayanta is on to something here. It sounds like your XML is not conforming to the Geodatabase XML schema definition as defined here: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#//018r00000005000000 It looks like if you use the Advanced Editor (little link at top right when creating a new post) then you will get an "Attach" option at the bottom right of the advanced editor. Otherwise here's a quick way to check if your XML file is formatted properly. If you open the XML document in a text editor you should see a format such as this: <Workspace> <WorkspaceDefinition> ...(stuff in between)... </WorkspaceDefinition> <WorkspaceData> ...(stuff in between)... </WorkspaceData> </Workspace> Does your file look something like that? Thanks, Matt
