Instead of resolving this issue I'm using a work-around by using the Code Snippets Manager to Add/Import the snippets to another location where Visual Studio can access them. Not sure what's preventing them from being seen when they remain in the ArcGIS subfolders.

I'm going through the Building Add-ins for ArcGIS for Desktop walkthrough: https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcobjects/latest/net/webframe.htm#WalthroughBuildingCustomUIElementsUsingAdd-Ins.htm And I'm trying to insert a snippet. I can see the ArcObjects folder and all of the subfolders within it, but I can't actually see the snippets themselves. When I test with another language I can see that the snippets are available to me to use. The strange thing is, I can see the ArcObjects snippets in the Code Snippets Manager. Check out the attached images. Thanks for any feedback you have.

I had this issue also. Was using ArcMap 10.4.1 and the .dwg was saved as a 2010 AutoCAD document. I fixed the issue by saving the .dwg to 2007 format instead. I hope this helps someone else in the future.

This didn't seem to help. Is there any timeline on the Identify widget version for Application Builder 3.7 being fixed? Because I can make the newest eSearch work on the newest application builder, so this could be avoidable. But the newest identify tool doesn't work on the newest app builder. The problem is that the navigational features are override the functionality of the identify widget. I've seen others post about this also.

There is no error, no. We are pondering whether or not us installing Portal for for ArcGIS is mucking anything up. Our other idea is that the Widget is not stored on the same server that the AppBuilder is located on, we imported it from a network folder. Now we'll try storing it locally and see if it works. The identify tool is stored locally and its functional. Its all we've come up with so far.

Currently using 3.6.9 eSearch tool with the 3.6 application builder, ArcGIS Viewer for Flex. It works fine with the 3.7 appbuilder, but our Identify tool doesn't work in the new 3.7 version, the navigational tools trump any functionality from the identify tool. So we had to revert versions and try to find a combination of things that work. Anyway, we have almost everything working except the eSearch tool. It works in the preview of the application, and also from the users machine who built the initial web service... but no other machines. Does anyone know why this is? Thanks, Scott

Well now we're seeing the Domains listed in the REST URL, but cannot get the usedomain="true" to work. userlist works fine though.

Yes sir, that is exactly what is happening. We just enabled Feature Access just now, which actually resulted in the picklists working in the application... but the domains still do not show up in the REST URL down where all the fields are listed for the table. Is Feature Access required for this functionality to work?

I've run into this issue in the past, but I forgot how I fixed it. I can't see the domains from SDE the REST URLs anywhere, so naturally I can't get picklists to show up in the eSearch tool. Entering the coded value will retrieve a result, but we would of course prefer the picklist to drop down. Anyone have a quick fix for us? I'm guessing it has something to do with the way we're publishing the data. Thanks, Scott

This is resolved. We changed aliases without rebuilding the the MXD from scratch. Once we created a new MXD and re-symbolized the tables everything worked out.
