I'm having the same issue. Creating a new, shorter path for the clone doesn't seem to help, as Pro seems to still download the TF tar to a long path. Anyone know how to change the default download location? > "C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\Scripts\conda.exe" create --clone "C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3" -p "C:\GeoAI\arcgispro-py3-clone" --no-shortcuts --pinned --yes

There are exactly zero things more frustrating than spending an hour on Esri Support. Except maybe more than an hour. Noting here that the hour was not productive in finding a solution to the issue, nor convincing support to file a bug, and that setting the SignInWithBrowser:1 in the registry option is the workaround.

We are having the same issue, with 2.7-3.0. Looks like sometime around 2.7, Pro switched to a built-in browser, and SSO with Dual Auth has failed, since. Like you, we found that using the "Sign-in Using Browser" works fine for using Named User authorization. You can set the default options in: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ESRI\ArcGIS Online For Pro\SignIn SIgnInFromBrowser should be: 1 AuthorizationPortal: Your ArcGIS.com org URL

I'm not able to find a way to add tools related to creating and publishing Service Definitions, for ArcGIS Server, to ModelBuilder, and I would very much find verbose messaging on processes that can take hours, helpful.

What they should have told you is who your Admin contact is for you University's HigherEd license, so they can start a support ticket for you. Dear Esri Support, Please don't do this to students. #MinimalEffort

My question is WHEN should you apply the patch in an upgrade? Immediately after install, but before any other setup procedures and installs (web adapter, data store, etc...)? After everything? The docs aren't clear on anything, not installation, or issues addressed. I've been going back and forth with Esri Support all day on this and noone seems to have an answer.

OK, so the only way to prevent the behavior is to use close to one of the aspect ratios you cite? It's not dimensions, but restraining/cropping the aspect ratio? So, for instance, if you want to use a panoramic photo as a cover, nice and thin across the top, you're just out of luck?

Nope. Saw that. Plenty about horizontal dimensions, though.

I'm trying to use an image that ~1200 wide by 100 high, as a StoryMaps Cover image. StoryMaps seems to be resizing the image, based upon some secret minimum Height requirement, and cropping out half of the image on the horizontal. I've found about 10 places where optimal horizontal dimensions are cited, and claims of optimal resizing, but I can find a word anywhere about vertical dimensions, and this behavior. Can someone please post the minimum vertical dimension for StoryMap Cover images that will prevent this behavior? Stace

Finally got it to work. It was SSL that made it possible. Our org is set to https only, so that was blocking. Once I got a simple SSL enabled https server running from my tile cache folder (BTW, it wasn't simple), I was able to point at a TMS service on my local machine, from an ArcGIS Online map:

It's hosted on my laptop. Using the built in Python web server that MacOS makes available. So, the URL is http://localhost:8000/SnowMap2/{z}/{x}/{y}.jpg We've got SSL enforced on our AGO org, so I'm looking into how to run https from my machine to see if that works, just haven't had a moment for that rabbit hole, this week.

I don't need it to show up for anyone but the local user. ArcGIS Online supports TMS for sure, it's right there in the interface as "A Tile Layer": I'll assume it's the the lack of SSL, as that's an avenue I suspected though I wanted to see if anyone had successfully done this, yet. I'll report back here if I find a way through this. Stace
