Hi, I am trying to configure ArcGIS License Manager on our Azure Server so that our users can run ArcGIS Pro. I have done everything advised in the article https://support.esri.com/en/technical-article/000024588 but need to know what the detailed requirements are for setting "Ensure the ArcGIS License Manager and vendor daemon ports are open in the Azure virtual network and Azure Application Gateway". Our ArcGIS Enterprise is set up in a standard way on Microsoft Azure using Esri's recommended JumpBox & Enterprise Server configuration. What I need to know are where do I make the Firewall, Port, etc settings? Are these in Defender on the ArcGIS Enterprise Server, Defender on the JumpBox, Azure Inbound Port Rules on the JumpBox virtual machine or the Azure ArcGIS Enterprise VM. Are there additional settings on the Azure Application Gateway? It'd be great if there was a detailed guide on where & what all of these settings are as there are too many combinations or places to set.

I have created a Custom Locator, made it public and tried to use it in the Experience Builder Search Widget as the Locator Source. Everything configures up fine but when using the Search Widget it won't find/locate any of the addresses. The locator itself works fine in Maps, Survey123 and Web Apps so I know it works. Is there something else that needs to be configured in Experience Builder or when generating the locator in ArcGIS Pro?

Thanks for the guidance Jonathan. The State issues were having such a widespread impact we ended up restoring the AWS server images. If we end up experiencing the same problem again I'll follow your suggestions. Any advise on where I can access some documentation/links around how versioning, States, lineage, etc all fits together and works so that I can get a deeper understanding of this for future reference? Regards Stephen

Hi Jake Thanks for the quick reply (always appreciated when trying to resolve major issues). I have run the Diagnose Version Metadata tool and it come back with no issues: All versions reference valid states. All states have valid parent ids. All lineage entries have valid state ids. All states have valid parent ids. It seems the new STATE is valid, it's just that it is causing the problem with the updates that are associated with the original state. This is why I believe the solution is to delete the new State but not at the database level to avoid causing corruption.

We are running ArcGIS Server 10.5 and two days ago found we were unable to make map edits using ArcGIS Collector and kept receiving "Update Failed". On checking the SDE_States table there is a new state that has been generated which relates back to the error we are receiving: Target state not found in the STATES table [dbo.DEFAULT][STATE_ID = 409403]. How do I delete this STATE without causing reference issues. I can see everything in SQL Server but would like to know if there is a tool that I can run to remove it? I have run the other lineage tools to check for corruption/issues and they are coming back as error free.

Hi Shan Thanks for responding, answers as follows: How was the address locator created? Using ArcGIS Pro Create Address Locator tool tool What address locator style is used for this address locator? Single Field Apart from viewing the properties are you able to geocode addresses? Yes, I can geocode addresses but as I cannot set the parameters it does include the RefID data that I need to include in the output. Is your address locator stored within a database or in a file folder? In a file folder If it is a database what kind of a database are you using to store it in? Just using a GeoDatabase in Pro If you are storing the address locator in a file folder the address locator accessible locally on your machine? Yes, stored locally and is accessible.

Hi, when opening the Properties for a Locator none of the settings ever load or able to be modified. All I get are a "Loading..." dialog that never returns anything (see image). Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated.
