Ah yes I can see how to do it now, can reference the attribute table widget and then get the selected features from the resource manager e.g. this.attributeTableWidget._resourceManager.featureTableSet

Does anyone have some examples on how to send data from the attribute table widget to another widget without making any code changes to the attribute table widget? Wanting to get the currently selected features (including related tables) in the attribute table populated into another widget.

If you open up the developer tools in IE, what document mode is set and/or errors appear? Might be that an incorrect document mode is being set (needs to be 9 or higher).

It would be great if you could export and import drawings using the draw widget. Workflow would be: - User draws on the map - User exports the drawing to a json file and closes Web AppBuilder - User then returns to Web AppBuilder, opens the draw widget and imports the json file - Previous drawings then appear on the map for the user to continue working on.

Cool. I'm not sure when it will be pushed into the OOTB Web AppBuilder, I did notice there was some code in there around the popups for imagery services, which had the comment "TO DO", so I would think it would be in the next release or two. I'll follow up though.

Managed to get the popups working for imagery services by adding in the following code to the Add Data widget - AddData\search\LayerLoader.js Line 497: // Set the popup info if (itemData.popupInfo) { popInfo = itemData.popupInfo; jsonPopInfo = djJson.parse(djJson.stringify(popInfo)); infoTemplate = new PopupTemplate(jsonPopInfo); layer.setInfoTemplate(infoTemplate); isCustomTemplate = true; }

It might be because of the version of server you've got, so the gp tool is built with 10.2.1, but ArcGIS Server is 10.2, so may not be working because of that. Is ArcGIS Server setup on a server? Can you RDP onto the server and run it from there if there is ArcMap on there?

Is it possible to publish a service in the stopped state. Normally when you publish a map service it starts, which is logical, but have a requirement for services to be in the stopped state after publishing to ArcGIS Server and just wondering if it was possible to set that anywhere. You could definitely do it writing some python code, but we want to do it with the "Share As" workflow from Desktop.

The database connections section seems to put the database connection files here - C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\ESRI\Desktop10.2\ArcCatalog. Not sure if you can change where that goes to off the top of my head. What you could do is just copy your database connection files to a folder somewhere (e.g. C:\Data\Database Connections\GeoStore.sde) and reference that filepath.

The request is probably longer than 2048 characters. Have you had a look at using a proxy page? - Using the proxy | Guide | ArcGIS API for JavaScript Are you doing this query from a web application you've built? You'll need to host the proxy on the same web server as your application and add in the web server you are going to (https://logistics.arcgis.com)into the proxy config.

That's cool. Sounds like at 10.3 you will be able to use versioned datasets with an offline workflow anyway

I've written some code in JavaScript to query the ArcGIS REST Admin API to query a lit of services on a different domain to where the application is hosted. Basically the app will make a rest to a URL like this - http://SERVER:6080/arcgis/rest/services?token=IHFgoom_rq5DJ9lU5sXi2AWKRAuTsBMi8lhlYhdPjJI. To get a list of services. The above works fine when I enable CORS like this beforehand: esri.config.defaults.io.alwaysUseProxy = false; esri.config.defaults.io.corsEnabledServers.push("SERVER:6080"); But as soon as I change the url to the REST Admin API instead of the REST services directory i.e. http://SERVER:6080/arcgis/admin/services?token=IHFgoom_rq5DJ9lU5sXi2AWKRAuTsBMi8lhlYhdPjJI. it doesn't work and I get this: esri.config.defaults.io.proxyUrl is not set. Even though I've got CORS setup, so does anyone know why the ArcGIS REST services directory is different to the admin API directory when using CORS?

Did you either get a response to this? I have a client at the moment that wants to edit data via Collector in offline mode. All their data is in a central database and is versioned. However they won't be able to do this as the data has to be non-versioned to be able to edit offline? But it can be edited online. Is that right? Is this going to change in the future?

I'm having an issue with the "Aleter Field" gp tool in python. I find that it works fine when running the tool from Desktop or in a model, but as soon as I run it from python, it doesn't work and resets all my alias field back to the field names. This only occurs for spatial views I setup, works fine on feature classes. Steps to reproduce - Setup a spatial view. - Setup a few field aliases in ArcGIS Desktop for the spatial view. - Run the "Alter Field" gp tool from python on one field e.g. arcpy.AlterField_management(spatialView, "PERMIT_NUMBER", "", "Permit Number") - Navigate to the spatial view in ArcGIS Desktop and notice that all the field aliases have been reset to the field names.
