I had this issue too. After a lot of hair pulling, I figured out that it was because my table name had periods in it. This is done by default when a feature class is created in the SDE, so it is published with a prefix of geodatabase.DBO.table_name. Since the form is published from an existing service, I can't change the name in the form to remove the periods. Does anyone have a work around for this?

Hello All I'm hoping someone can help clear up a few questions for me. I have a feature service with attachments and related tables published through desktop to ArcServer, and registered with Portal. The related table questions are shown as a repeat in my survey. I have the form_id and submission URL matching, but when I attempt to publish, I receive an error that fields from the related table are not found in the form_id, therefore the URL is incompatible. My question is, is this part of a limitation of having repeats in an existing service? Can you not have 2 "sources" of questions? I have archiving turned on, and using global ID and GUID properly. If I create the exact same survey and use Survey Connect to create the hosted service, I have no issues. Thanks for your help!

im in the same boat as you, trying to find something compatible with R1 - between collector, terrasync, and arcpad. we are using pathfinder office right now for our differential corrections (no R1 yet). have you looked into TerraGo edge? Right now this product has my attention because it is supposed to be cross platform and capable of syncing directly to the arcserver / arconline. It is also supposed to be the best for offline data collection and correction? Its $2500 for 5 users annually and would eliminate the need for collector, terrasync, or arcpad. you can do it all in one. Check it out if you have a chance, might help you out.

I need help understanding the differences between post processing an arcpad .ssf file in pathfinder office or using GPS Analyst (trimble positions). These files coming in from the field are not kept in a geodatabase, and if I try to import the .ssf file into pathfinder office i get an error that says it was created with GPS Correct and therefore is read only. Can anyone explain why you would use pathfinder office over gps analyst or why i cant get my .ssf file to open in PFO? Thank you!
