Is there a way to split a route into points at a set interval of M? I need to generate a series of points alone a route at a defined interval - I can do this with a distance interval, but I'd like to be able to use our Measure data to determine where the points are located

Yes, if we open the feature class after the edit has been made the edits are reflected - its only if the FC is open at the time of the edits it isnt reflected

I have a bit of a strange one - we are doing updates to a default version in versioned views (to update a linking number to another system), the update works fine, however in Desktop (10.2) the updates don't necessarily display correctly. If you have the Feature Class open at the time the update is fired, it may or may not show the updated values in the identify or table tools until you relaunch the application, is there some sort of caching at the application level that may be causing this? Hitting Reload Cache in the Table tool doesnt appear to update the values though Relaunching Desktop and opening the FC again shows the updates as expected - its not a showstopper, its just annoying! Any ideas? My Environment - 10.2 for Desktop and Server, SQL Server 2008

One thing I struggled with to get right was the FROM/TO methods when dealing with directional geometric networks, I ended up having to draw a diagram that lived on the bottom of my monitor for a little while so I could refer to it (if only I could find it now...) It may be useful to have some diagrams for some of the more complex methods

Mike - I've attached ours, its a work in progress (it will expand over the next few weeks as we bring more datasets online into our new editing environment) I may have a few more suggestions a little bit later, but one that I have now - would it be possible to create a method to connect or disconnect a feature from a geometric network based on an attribute change? (Disconnecting would be good when we set a feature to be 'archived') Im sure there are other annoyances/idiosyncrasies that i've found, i'll see if i can find the list Thomas
