If the table is closed, looks like the field is back in when table is opened again. I was referring to hiding fields on a hosted layer in map viewer that could be saved. With this setting users would not see those fields in map viewer table, until map editor changes it back. So basically, using the same hosted layer, but hiding field A in one web map, and then hiding field B in another. Currently, it seems that our option is to use a multitude of view layers for various web maps. This works, and should remain an option, but allowing hiding fields of the hosted layer would make the process bit quicker. +1 vote from me asking if there is an update on this setting using a hosted layer. Thanks in advance.

It would be helpful to have basic polygon hatching capabilities in the AGOL Draw widget (https://doc.arcgis.com/en/web-appbuilder/latest/create-apps/widget-draw.htm). Sometimes a user may need to preserve underlying colors, and hatch option would make end-product more presentable and useful. Sometimes a polygon outline is just not enough.

Since you're an admin, go to https://www.esri.com/en-us/arcgis/products/user-types/buy, log in (if you're not logged in already), then add to cart and pay. Your cart should be showing your Organization name and Customer ID. I hope this helps.

Is the field visibility supported now? I can't seem to find it. If not, is there a possible timeline when this feature might be implemented and supported? I'd hate to setup views, then not need them in a month:) It may have "disentangled" that relationship, but that action leads to a bit of confusion for admins and users. If we set up a field to not be visible in a pop-up, odds are that the general intent was not to have it visible in the table either. Why enable basic bypass of limited data we want viewers to see, by allowing to view the full table? Could it be possible that whichever developer(s) setup that "entanglement" may have had that in mind in the first place, giving us a straightforward solution without needing layer views? Creating layer views for something that was solvable with a checkbox, just adds to the number of assets that staff has to track and make sense of in AGOL.

Hello Mark, I have the same issue now. Have you ever figured out how to bring back the login prompt? Logging out/in, reinstalling the app, none of it works... Thanks in advance!

I know this is a bit late, but after looking for the answer myself, I found this post and an idea suggestion if anyone wants to vote for this useful feature: https://community.esri.com/ideas/16931-show-printer-margins-in-arcgis-pro-map-layout

Is there a reason why the call for papers has not been included on the main Esri User Conference 2018: July 9–13, San Diego, CA | Esri GIS Conference page, specifically in the "Get Involved Section," along with other ways to participate? I know two people who've missed the deadline, after I've mentioned it over the weekend. Thanks.

Add one more frustrated user here... none of the solutions above worked:( It is amazing how an immensely useful tool like this, that has existed for years, can keep being screwed up so bad. I am so tired of ESRI's "it works for us" or "well, it works sometimes" excuses... How many people would buy a car where steering wheel turns only one of the wheels, or if brakes work only half the time? I think for the price we are all paying for the software, we deserve at least basic tools that work with some level of consistency...

Often they fix the bugs I didn't even know I had, and no fix for the ones that are bugging me (or create surprises as you had above)

If you have the water polygon touching the edge of your parcel layer... Use "Intersect" command, and set the output to line... Then calculate the length of individual segments (I use XTools calculate geometry). The resulting line layer will have the lengths of the individual boundary sections. If not, just create a water polygon and run the above... I hope that helps.
