It doesn't seem like there was ever a resolution to this problem. I am running into the same issue with an application that I'm working on. I am developing a mapping module that has to be run from a C++ context, so I have created a C# class library that references the Esri.ArcGISRuntime libraries that is called from a C++/CLI wrapper so that my WPF mapping windows can be displayed from a C++ application. The problem that I am running into is the same as the original poster. Whenever I build my class library, an ArcGISRuntime100.4 folder is being created, and inside of that is a resources folder, but there is no Client32 or Client64 folders being generated.

I checked the page describing AbortSignal, and at the very top of the page is this warning, This is an experimental technology Check the Browser compatibility table carefully before using this in production. I am having a similar issue to the original poster, but not because my Typescript version is out of date (we are using 3.1.3), but I think it is because we are targeting ES5 to try to maintain at least marginal IE11 support. Are there any known work arounds or shims for AbortSignal so that we can continue targeting ES5? **EDIT** Sorry for this mixup, we were actually using an older typscript version. Visual Studio Code was using 3.1.3, but our project was referencing version 2.3

I found a work around that works well enough. I can keep the same map in memory, but I have to create a new MapView to get it to reattach correctly. I have to save information about the center, zoom, scale, etc. to make sure that the view comes back the same as it was before, but at least I don't have to recreate the map and the layers. I modified my fiddle here Edit fiddle - JSFiddle to show the work around.

Unfortunately that bug fix doesn't seem to be related. I updated my fiddle here Edit fiddle - JSFiddle to use 4.4 and it is still showing the same problem.

I am working on an application with a dynamic layout, and I would like to be able to close (remove) the map from the page, and then later reattach the map that was removed to a new HTML container. for detaching from the page I was trying view.container = null; for reattaching to the page I am just assigning the HTMLDivElement to the container view.container = divContainerElement; When I do this it just kind of works. The widgets that I have set up on the view show up in my container, but the actual map is not shown. The main difference that I can see in the html is that when the map is initially added there are several child elements inside of <div class="esri-view-surface"... , and after I detach and reattach then the element <div class="esri-view-surface"... has no child elements. Is what I'm talking about even possible, or is it something that will be available in a future release? I am using arcgis-js-api 4.3.1 A fiddle with a very basic setup of what I'm trying to do is here Edit fiddle - JSFiddle If you press the detach button it will remove the map, and when you reattach you will see that the map kind of comes back with the zoom widget visible and the footer information visible, but no map. Thanks for any help.

That looks like this is a different manifestation of the same bug. We might have to just go with 3.16 or just hope for a good fix sometime this fall with version 4.1

I'm running a map using the ArcGIS API for Javascript version 4.0, and it seems like the mouse is somehow misaligned with the map. Below is a screenshot where I clicked on the blue dot which is a point feature, and it popped up the white box well off of that point. I also feel like this is affecting zooming as well. When you scroll it is supposed to zoom in on your mouse, but in our situation it seems to be zooming in somewhere other than the mouse location. The map is inside of a window that was made with JQuery UI that is draggable and resizable. If I resize the window to the full size of the browser window, then things seem to line up. Has anyone else run into this problem and have a fix for this?

Do you or anyone else know of a public ArcGIS server that is running 10.4.1 that I could test with? It seems all of the public services hosted by esri are 10.3 or older.

I tried that out, and it does change the geometry of the graphic, but if the graphic has already been added to the map, this change is not reflected in the map. Also, I'm not sure why there is a need for the setAttribute method because you can just as easily do the following graphic.geometry = aGeom;

I have almost the same question posted on gis stackexchange here How do you change a GraphicsLayer's geometry in the ArcGIS API for Javascript 4.0 - Geographic Information Systems Stack… I came to a similar workaround, and I'm also curious if there is a better way to do this. If the momentary flash where there are no graphics is your main concern, have you tried adding your new geometry first then removing the old geometry, so instead of briefly having no graphics you will briefly have two graphics?

What Silverlight API version were you using when you got these errors? We are getting the same errors when using Silverlight API version 3.0, and were wondering if this was still a problem on version 3.3 Is ArcGIS for server 10.4 incompatible with the Silverlight API with regards to dynamic map layers? - Geographic Informa… Thanks, TJ

http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/arcgis-rest-api/index.html#/Dynamic_Layer_Table/02r3000000q0000000/ supportsAdvancedQueries would return false in the following scenarios: The layer / table resides in a workspace other than an enterprise database or File Geodatabase. The layer / table is joined with another layer / table from a different workspace. We put our shape files into a File Geodatabase, and we were able to get Supports Advanced Queries to show true, but we are still having issues with using OrderByFields, but that is a different question.

I have some ArcGIS services hosted on a 10.1 server with a large number of records (100,000+). We are displaying an attribute table for these records in a silverlight 4 application, and to manage the volume of records we are paging the data. We use ReturnIdsOnly to get a list of objectIDs for the viewable extent, but then we only get full records for something like 100 records at a time to display in the attribute table, and these records are retrieved based on a subset of objectIDs from the objectIDs list that we got earlier using ReturnIdsOnly. Now we want to be able to sort our attribute table based on a given field either ascending or descending. To do this, I've tried using OrderByFields with ReturnIdsOnly to get a sorted list of objectIDs. So far it seems like nothing I try does anything. The objectIDs that are returned always come back just sorted numerically instead of being sorted by the field specified by OrderByFields. I've been searching around and I have seen some information hinting at the fact that your layers have to be configured for advanced queries to use OrderByFields, but I haven't found anything that describes how to configure that setting or if the setting is done in the ArcGIS Server Manager or if it is done in ArcMap when the service is exported. I'm pretty sure the format of the request is correct, but as an example this is what my query requests look like. ... var queryTask = new QueryTask(SelectedLayer.Url); var query = new Query(); query.Geometry = _map.Extent; query.ReturnGeometry = false; query.OrderByFields.Add(new OrderByField("Date", SortOrder.Descending)); query.ReturnIdsOnly = true; query.ExecuteCompleted += queryTask_ExecuteCompleted; queryTask.ExecuteAsync(query); ... When ExecuteCompleted is fired I'm getting the full list of ObjectID's, but they are not sorted by "Date". Any help getting things configured properly so that this will work is much appreciated. ***UPDATE*** I was looking at our feature layers that we are trying to query, and I have verified that supports advanced queries is false, so it seems the problem now is how do we make the layer so that supports advanced queries is true? I have been looking and have not been able to find any good documentation on the property "Supports Advanced Queries". ***UPDATE***
