Hawker, I just had an email exchange with Christie at Cornucopia support and she asked me to communicate to anyone who purchased CE through Cornucopia to email her at support@cornucopia3d.com. Put "Vue CityEngine" in the email subject and she'll get the emails to a contact at ESRI.

I dealt with this problem for while. I eventually had to go through a screen-sharing process with two ESRI employees before I could use the software. Also OSX--maybe that has something to do with the issue. Nah, it worked just fine before the take-over. The problem is that there isn't a Procedural website to validate the serials anymore ... very short-sighted on Procedural and esri's parts. And completely unacceptable for us, the folks who paid good money for a piece of software that now doesn't work.

Same situation here, Matt. Haven't been able to get anyone at esri to address, let alone resolve our problem at this point. It's quite frustrating having an application that you paid for and desperately need to use that's been crippled. I'm hopeful that someone at esri will see these posts and resolve the situation soon. Matthias, can you please address the issues that the Procedural City Engine 2010 users are having ... not being able to activate their legacy products. There are a couple of posts in this forum now and we can't seem to get anyone from esri to address our situation. This is extremely frustrating to say the least. Regards, Tom Messina

I just fired up my copy of City Engine 2010 (purchased from Cornucopia last year) and found out that esri has bought out Procedural and, apparently, left the original users in the lurch. There doesn't appear to be any way to re-activate my copy (since esri, in its infinite wisdom, didn't have the foresight to provide a method for legacy users). This, to put it bluntly, is bull. Are we 2010 users out a few hundred bucks for a piece of software that no longer works???!!! Has anyone had any luck getting their 2010 version to work? Does esri have a plan to provide a new version that works for us (or, at least, allow our old versions to work)? If not, I'd like to get some feedback from any others who purchased through e-on/Cornucopia and investigate the feasibility of bringing suit to refund our original purchase price.
