It is exactly what the error message says: Envelope is not a supported geometry type to store in an ESRI GeoDatabase. Use Polygon instead. Supported types are: Point—The geometry type will be point. Multipoint—The geometry type will be multipoint. Polygon—The geometry type will be polygon. Polyline—The geometry type will be polyline. Multipatch—The geometry type will be multipatch.

Hello, I think you want to try: double scale = this.MyMapView.MapScale; To set the scale, I would use: await this.MyMapView.SetViewpointScaleAsync(scale); Best regards, Volker

For a simple viewer app, I would recommend to compose the map with ArcGIS Pro and export that map as a mobile map package (mmpk). Be sure to include all referenced data into the package. To open the package, have an esri:MapView in your Xaml and in code behind, something like: MobileMapPackage MyMapPackage = await MobileMapPackage.OpenAsync(mmpk_filename); await MyMapPackage.LoadAsync(); MyMapView.Map = MyMapPackage.Maps.First(); This way, it will load much much faster and will consume less resources than with local server.

For the rest of the pack: Changing the symbol and/or the projection resolved the issue. ESRI is looking into it further.

Hello all, in ArcGIS Runtime 10.2.7 .NET, ArcObjects 10.8.1 and ArcGIS Pro 2.8.3 the lines are displayed correctly. In ArcGIS Runtime 100.13 (from MMPK) it looks like this: For reference (ArcMap from MS SQL-Server): If we import the mmpk-file into ArcGIS Pro back, it looks "normal" like in the ArcMap display. Is there something wrong with the display engine in ArcGIS Runtime or is the data to complex?

Thanks for the clarification, I now suspect the labeling to be the cause. The application is very complex and I haven't really had the time to take a closer look, I'll try to find out more over the weekend and maybe I'll be able to build a repro.

In a multi-map application, when an area is drawn on a graphics overlay, the background map is no longer displayed, instead you see a strange combination of letters and graphics. The application layout is as follows: Multiple map instances are active on different user controls. Each map user control is isolated from the others and has its own graphics overlays, graphics are not shared between map instances. The following procedure always leads to this state: 1: Draw point and area graphics on graphics overlays on Map1. 2: Open Map2 in another tab, also draw point and area graphics on Map2 3: Switch back to Map1, draw point and area graphics, the graphics overlays are drawn but the actual map is no longer drawn. Please, see also the short video attachment. This happens on multiple workstations with different graphics cards. The app is compiled against ArcGIS Runtime .NET 100.8. The app ist a successor of our Runtime 10.2.7 application, the Graphics-Overlay part was completely rewritten since we used Graphics-Layers in the previous version. Does anybody have an idea what is happening here or how one could get behind it? Many thanks for any hint in any direction and have a great day. Volker

We are developing an offline scenario in Runtime .NET, in which the gis component is embedded in an other platform that provides us with an enterprise sync workflow. We decided not to use 2 syncing platforms but want to give the users the ability to edit gis features as well (edited gis data is tunneled as payload through the other syncing platform and hits the arcgis server in the backend though). This seems to be a rare workflow, but I can think of other scenarios (actually I have this requirement in an other project) where it could make sense to have a detached (not registered with any service) geodatabases for offline editing. Please, give us an option to create offline read-write runtime geodatabases with standard ESRI tools (ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro). Thanks Volker

For Windows 7 it says: "...unless they are at the appropriate Service pack level". What does that mean? Release notes for 10.2.7—ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET | ArcGIS for Developers Per the Microsoft life cycle support policy, the following platforms are no longer supported for deployment unless they are at the appropriate service pack level: Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 7.

Hi, I'm migrating from ArcGIS Runtime for WPF and have some problems with handling local data services. I have several local datasources (mpk and tpk) and try to load these into a MapView. When particular layers are initialized there should happen some other stuff in my app. Strange thing is, when I load a dynamic service BEFORE I start a ArcGISLocaltiledLayer the PropertyChanged event of the tiled layer never get's fired. When I reverse the order of loading the service and the tiled layer (first tiled layer afterwards LocalMapService) everything works fine. Is there any workaround for this behaviour, other than changing the load order (what will be a total mess to my app logic on this and related points)? Edit: Attached a VS2013 solution to repro.
