Robert, I have WAB 2.7 installed and am planning to install your 2.5 widgets. I am just checking with you to see if these 2.5 widgets are going to work in WAB 2.7 or not. the API versions used by 2.5 and 2.7 have minor differences. Hope the 2.5 widgets are going to work in 2.7.

Thanks Robert for these great widgets. Just wonder can you think a reason that the WAB2.5 widgets wouldn't work in WAB 2.7? I understand the 2.5 widgets were developed and tested using WAB 2.5, but both 2.5 and 2.7 use the similar versions of API and the API supposes backward compatible. Please advise.

Thank Robert for your quick response. the app was indeed developed in older-version of WAB by our client and got imported into WAB 2.4. i have created a new app in WAB 2.4 and didn't see the icon property in config.json - so same result as what you got. I tried deleting the icon property from the config.json in WAB, but they got added again whenever i make any changes (like a change on a custom widget) on the app. SO how to turn off adding icon property in WAB 2.4?

Hello, does anybody have ideas of why the icon property gets added to the app config.json in WAB? please see below. The problem here is that the icon path is incorrect. it should point to "widgets/AttributeTable/images/icon.png" instead of adding /webappbuilder/apps/3/ in front. This makes all widget icons were broken when i deploy it to IIS. How can i configure in WAB to make icon path correct or just remove it?

Hello, we set up collaborations between our portals (10.5.1). Although some times i have to manually run the sync to get the contents synced, most times we are pretty happy with it. In the past couple of days, one of our users tried to share an map image layer (map service as the source) and it didn't get through. When I tried manually running the sync, unsharing/resharing it like what i used to do, it still didn't go through. I noticed whenever I ran the sync, the following warning message appeared in the portal log. Failed to export item '57116782cc064eca9078cc87c02b9a55' into a replication package Based on my understanding, data for only hosted feature layers gets replicated during collaboration while for map services, just, just a reference is shared. But why it's trying to replicate the data for this case? Since I couldn't make it work, our user tried republishing the service and re-shared it and it was able to get through. But republishing the service is not a solution for us since it will change the portal item IDs and mess up any existing map/apps using the item. Can anyone please help why the sync didn't work? Any workarounds or solutions?

go to gisdatastore\logs and check the log file, or similarly you can run the describedatastore.bat under Program Files\ArcGIS\DataStore\tools to see what errors you got. for my case, port 9876 isn't listening. restarting datastore windows service solved the issue.

it's possible at least for WAB 2.1. I went to \server\db and updated the creator for my app to a new ownership in the apps file. it worked. But I am wondering if there is more a supportive way of doing that like updating via a rest end-point?

HI Keith, have you found a solution? I had the exact issue and tried adding ALLOW-FROM at application level and web adapter level, but no luck. Thanks so much for any suggestions.

thanks Anthony, please see this post. https://community.esri.com/thread/193287-programatically-generate-tokens-from-the-portal-rest can't I just call the rest endpoint to get the token? if you have code sample in Javascript, would you mind share it?
