I've got all editing enabled, I created the layer, so I have full permissions on it. But the updates I make to the attribute table of the hosted feature layer only save about 5% of the time. I originally was just updating fields with domains and saw that it wasn't saving properly. I tried updating a simple integer field and saw the same issues. I would end the edit session, open up the pop up for that feature and see the changes. Then I would click another feature and go back to the original one and the changes would be gone?! Symbology based on the updated field was rarely updating on the fly as well.

Looks like they added this: MapSeries example 3 The following script exports only the selected pages to a single, multipage PDF. import arcpy, os, sys
relpath = os.path.dirname(sys.argv[0])
p = arcpy.mp.ArcGISProject(relpath + "\\MapSeries\\US_States.aprx")
l = p.listLayouts()[0]
if not l.mapSeries is None:
ms = l.mapSeries
if ms.enabled:
ms = l.mapSeries
indexLyr = ms.indexLayer
arcpy.SelectLayerByAttribute_management(indexLyr, 'NEW_SELECTION', "SUB_REGION = 'New England'")
ms.exportToPDF(relpath + "\\Output\\Ex3_SelectedFeatures.pdf", 'SELECTED')

The Bug IS BACK! Exporting fc as table and doing the join worked though. I'm in ArcMap 10.5.1, using SQL Server 2012 db.

I figured I would add this in case anyone else was interested, just another way to do it: import arcpy, ast
# Get feature set object from user input parameter
extPoly=arcpy.GetParameter(0)
# Read JSON property of the feature set as a dictionary
jsonPoly=ast.literal_eval(extPoly.JSON)
feat= (jsonPoly['features'])
geom=((feat[0]['geometry']['rings']))
# Make separate list of x values and get min/max x
listX = []
for coord in geom[0]:
listX.append(coord[0])
minx = min(listX)
maxx = max(listX)
# Make separate list of y values and get min/max y
listY = []
for coord in geom[0]:
listY.append(coord[1])
miny = min(listY)
maxy = max(listY)
This was my initial JSON return: { "displayFieldName":"", "fieldAliases":{"OBJECTID":"OBJECTID","SHAPE_Length":"SHAPE_Length","SHAPE_Area":"SHAPE_Area"}, "geometryType":"esriGeometryPolygon", "spatialReference":{"wkid":102643,"latestWkid":2227}, "fields":[{"name":"OBJECTID","type":"esriFieldTypeOID","alias":"OBJECTID"},{"name":"SHAPE_Length","type":"esriFieldTypeDouble","alias":"SHAPE_Length"},{"name":"SHAPE_Area","type":"esriFieldTypeDouble","alias":"SHAPE_Area"}], "features":[{"attributes":{"OBJECTID":1,"SHAPE_Length":898.13659879002444,"SHAPE_Area":48790.437030014538}, "geometry":{"rings":[[[6072538.7365812212,2099332.1891194731],[6072790.4726262987,2099361.7028399706],[6072792.2088433057,2099160.3141351491],[6072524.847829476,2099156.8417011499],[6072538.7365812212,2099332.1891194731]]]} }] }

Hi Don! Thanks for responding. We are trying to allow users to view and edit a feature service in AutoCAD, however we only want to bring in a subset of the feature service, as the whole thing takes way too long to load. We don't want to have to publish a different feature service for each selection set that we'd like to show a user in AutoCAD. Each user is only going to be interested in viewing or editing the data specific to their project. Thanks ahead of time!

I'd like to be able to filter the features I bring into AutoCAD when using ArcGIS for AutoCAD. We are able to bring in the entire feature service with all records (ours is hosted on ArcGIS Server 10.5.1) but it is so large it becomes impractical to work with in CAD. There is an ability to limit by extent but this is not ideal. Please add a query BY ATTRIBUTE ability to allow the user to filter which features to draw in CAD from a REST end point/feature service. AutoLISP has this: esri_featureservice_set Can you allow the user to specifiy a specific index of a layer in the service, and then add an attribute query, such as "OBJECTID in (1,2,3)" within the AutoLISP?

Can you add a feature service to ArcGIS for AutoCAD with a query/filter on it? So instead of bringing in all features in the service, I want to add a query to only show certain ObjectIDs from a feature layer.

This is actually a big deal! There's no way to be sure which imagery you are looking at. It would be great if we could turn each resolution on/off. Changing the Identify tool to show all Visible layers gives you attributes for each level of imagery but it doesn't tell you which level/date you are looking at.

Odd, I am seeing tremendous slow down kriging with either data frame clipping, or setting the environment variable for extent or mask to my polygon layer. My polygon was quickly hand-drawn and does not have a lot of vertices. Process takes less than a minute without any of those restrictions, and going on over an hour with them in both catalog and arcmap.

Just curious what the hold up is for ESRI to implement this? Seems like a request that has been around for awhile now.
