I'm new to the 3D Analyst portion of Arc, but have a project that I need to attempt to complete. It's very basic to this point and I just need to see if it's possible to do.
I'm looking to take a building on a coastline (ocean or lake) and model a wave that impacts that building. The building can be real or just made up for this situation. For example, as a hurricane moves toward a coastline, waves eventually make their way onto land as they become larger - so, I'm looking to take just one wave and one building and produce a 3D model. I have no need...yet, to produce an animation as a static image should do fine. Any help on how to get started with this would be fantastic.
This may be better suited for a ArcGlobe or ArcScene, but that too I am unsure about.
