I am using the selection widget to query data across the North Pacific Rim, however we have developed a custom projection that is best suited for this area. Our custom projection in centered on 180 longitude and 47.5 latitude. If I use ESRI's standard basemaps in the config.xml (web mercator projection) and a query is executed where data are selected in both N. America and Russia - it zooms out to the whole world. However if I set one of our in house base data layers as the only basemap in the config.xml - then the selection widget uses our custom projection and works great. However it is not as snazzy or pretty without imagery as a basemap.
Is there anyway to hard code our spatial reference in the code?
