I have made several customizations to both XML and MXML files for our viewers. Now I am upgrading the API library. I have started by simply importing the *.swc file into the libs folder and seeing that is it referenced in the Project>Properties>Library Path. Is this acceptable, or should I instead use a fresh viewer and bring all my code in? Thank you.

Since I got no replies, let me reword:

Survey:

Did you -

a) Import the 2.4 library .swc file into your existing 2.3.1 project?

OR

b) Copy your customized code into an imported 2.4 project?

Thank you for your help.

Mark,

Ar you talking about Flex Viewer Apps??? If so you are in the wrong forum.

But to answer your question (if it is about the viewer) you would add your customized widgets to the new viewer frame work so that you can take advantage of the updates that esri made to the viewers core framework as well as the API updates.

Hi Robert,

I am talking about the Flex viewer. Maybe the reason I got no replies is because I posted here instead of there.

Thanks for the advice.
