Hi guys,
I would like to create a rather simple map application that would be fed maps from a WMS map server (possibly not an ArcServer).
1. Do take advantage of the ARGGis API for silverlight, what kind of software license would I need from ESRI? Do I need one at all? Again, I will not be using ArcServer to serve my application the maps.
2. Another question I have is whether this is a good way to go? Basically I need a mapping app in silverlight that will consume WMS maps. Does anyone have experience they could share with me? Any other/better way to go about this (I would like to avoid writing the map component myself in Silverlight if possible...)
