label dont appear with Feature Layer or DynamicMaplayer Service

please i want to know why in my application, when i publish a feature layer or a dunamicmaplayerservice, his labels dont appear on my application ???

Labeling is not supported out of the box, you would have to use custom symbol or GraphicsLayer to show labels.

Jennifer, when you say not supported, can you elaborate? 

Isn't ShowLabels Property supporting labelling for dynamic servcies?

It looks like you are trying to display labels on feature layers.

By default, they won't display.We used GeometryService to get label points and then showed text graphics on the map.

Sanjay that is what i'm trying to clarify w.r.t. comments... In my case, i just piggy-back off the associated map service of the feature service & hence for me its not an issue (appreciate its not neatest solution but it enables me to expose the functionality in the application).
