Retrieving data issue.

We're experiencing an issue when attempting to retrieve data from either the ESRI services or from our own server services with this API. Data is never populated and CPU usage for IE just grows and grows till the machine is unusable. I've search through the forums and I'm unable to locate an identical issue.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Ken,

The problem seems a bit vague - are you handling the Initialization Failed event for the layers?  Also, I would try using Fiddler to see if you can find anything that may be the cause of your problem - or at least post what Fiddler returns so other members and/or ESRI can respond.
