Schema locks while exporting

Hi,
I am trying to create �??Export to Shape�?� (from map service) using REST/SOE.  Exporting functionality working fine and creates the shapefiles, but with schema locks (As mentioned in the below article). These locks are not getting cleared until I restart my map services.

Is there any way to get rid of these schema locks?
As soon as export process has been done, I want to create the zip file and send it back to client (Silverlight) for download. I am using ArcGIS Server 10 and Client app is Silverlight.

You are right!! and I guess I would have to talk to ArcGIS server team on this.
