I've got a dashboard up in development. Everything is working basically as expected everywhere except the map labels. I've set up a few category selectors to filter the map and some surrounding dashboard elements successfully, but when the map features are filtered out, the labels remain!
I thought about the possibility of the category selectors doing a few things to hide features that would result in this behavior:
- Turn all symbology layers off (like unchecking them in Pro)
- Remove all symbology layers (basically setting the symbology to null)
- Turn up transparency (funny to think about)
And if any of these are the case, then there'd need to be label queries applied to hide the labels as well. Am I missing something? I just assumed the filters were akin to definition queries and just didn't bring the filtered features in. But I guess I don't have any idea what is happening in the javascript actually.
Anyone else seen this?
