Hey there! I am using map series to drive multiple layout views and want the map legend in the layout to show the sum value of areas of polygon features displayed on each map sheet. I am currently calculating the value manually and attributing the value to a field in the map series feature class so I can use dynamic text to accomplish this. However, I feel like my solution is cumbersome and prone to data entry errors. I would prefer to point directly at the feature class table for the polygons to calculate and display this sum value or polygon areas being displayed on each layout view. Any suggestions?
