I am trying to use the student trial for ArcGIS 10.2 but cannot figure out how to authorize it

Have you spoken with your GIS administrator at the educational institution where you received the install disc?

Usually Dan_Patterson knows something about this.
10.2 is not at all current and if they had registered the EVA code would be needed to complete the registration. Their site admin would have to help them if they are using old versions for some reason

I think, the Student Trial is a Single-Use license. You need to choose the appropriate single-use license from ArcGIS Administrator. See https://community.esri.com/thread/189325-i-can-not-oper-arcgis-map-104
Thank you all - I was able to make it work. Authorized the program with the EVA code within the program.
