For many of us utility and water resource field workers, having a reference point for an urban asset is integral to locating said asset at a later date. Here at CDOT, we use mile markers as a reference point to provide the most accurate location on the closest road to the asset. This is detrimental to our Maintenance team who use the Route and Reference Point to locate the asset to be cleaned. Being able to have the M Value enabled within the Enterprise environment and the corresponding applications (Field Maps, Workforce, Survey123, etc) would incredible beneficial. For example, being able to see the mile markers when using the "Find Measure" button in Field Maps allow a manual work-around to any python scripting that may need to be done especially if that kind of work may not be accessible to certain departments.

Hi @KristynCrowe,

Have you taken a look at this product, which supports linear referencing functionality in ArcGIS?

ArcGIS Roads and Highways

I think it might meet your needs as it works with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Field Maps.

Hope this helps,
