While the ability to send a question to Ask A Cartographer is disabled i'll place my question regarding label constraints here. I have investigated Light Gray Base Map mxd template from http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=a49e056d3fd7412a92070671ef1768c9 and found that for the reason to not overlap labels which are in Basemap with separate Reference Map lables is used Label Constraints (red square point symbols). Could someone provide in detail how it is done or what is technique for 'invisible' (red squares) label constraint point symbols in Basemap?
