Hello,

I just installed arcgis server desktop 10.0 and also arcgis server 10.0 and when I type http: // localhost: 6080/ARCGis/manager it does not work ... but when I type localhost:80/arcgis/rest it works.

Please help me.

At 10.0, you reach Server Manager through ports 80 and 443.  Starting at 10.1, you'll reach Manager through 6080 and 6443.

I have already tried these ports but it does not work

As mentioned by JQuinn-esristaff‌, port 6080 and 6443 are only applicable for ArcGIS Server 10.1 or later.

Since you are working on ArcGIS Server 10.0, you need to login to manager through http://localhost/arcgis/manager or http://localhost:80/arcgis/manager

instead of localhost, try can also the machine name or the IP address.  I know on our machines, localhost didn't always work, although I don't recall the error (we're on 10.2.1).    ...and keep in mind, localhost would only work when on the ArcGIS Server server itself, not from a separate machine.

You'll have to describe what doesn't work means.  By default, I don't think SSL is enabled at 10.0, so I think you should focus on http.  If you navigate to http://localhost/arcgis/manager or http://<machine_name>/arcgis/manager what do you get?  Are you unable to connect at all, (unlikely as you can get to REST)?  Is it an authentication issue?  If so, are you logged in with a user that's part of the agsadmin group?  Finally, 10.0 is deprecated and has been for some time.  If you're getting started with ArcGIS Server you should be working with a more current version.

Mr for rest http: // localhost / arcgis / rest it works but for the manager when I type http: // localhost / arcgis / manager or http: // localhost: 80 / arcgis / manager or http: // localhost: 6080 / Arcgis / manager it does not work (an error page) I have ISS activated also HTTP the problem is that I only have this version of arcgis server 10.0

Try to open the ArcGIS Manager from the following

Start > All Programs > ArcGIS > ArcGIS Server for the Microsoft .NET Framework > ArcGIS Server Manager
